Creating a group without a user?

    Is there a way to create groups without a user?

    I’m looking for a solution to create groups that will be aproved by admin or moderator, but the group creator should not act as a user. In my case I would like to leave users as users, but I would like to change the groups to “companies” for example, so if the group manager from the company changes, the company could continue to maintain the group…

    Any ideas?

    after a long research I decided to use users anyway… but it would be still a good thing…

    @3×7 there needs to be at the very least one group admin per group. You can always remove the template tags for the group admin/moderator in group header 🙂

    It was more about visitors creating their promotion page for small business…
    Like the FB has option to register a promotion page…
