On the registration page for my site the ‘Name’ option already has text in it, presumably from a previous user who signed up.

It now seems some people are not noticing this when they register and so I now have several users all with the same name.

There is also a drop-down input box on the page which offers a list of options. One of these options is already selected, when it should not be.

Not all the field on the registration page are behaving incorrectly in this page. For example the Usernasme, Email address and Password fields are empty.

How can I make the Name and drop-down input box behave the same way?

I’m currently running:

Wordpress 3.3.2
Buddypress 1.5.5

I have the W3 Total Cache plugin (0.9.2.4) which may be interfering. I also have the SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam (2.7.5) and Wangguard (1.4.5) plugins which may be related to what’s happening.
