Social Bookmarking Functionality Question?

    Hello,

I have been working on a new BuddyPress website that is more of a Niche Social Bookmarking site than a social network. I have it setup so that the user enters a url and it saves some information about that specific url into their user profile activity and to the site wide activity stream.

All of that is working fine for me, however, one feature that seems really important to a site like this, that I can’t seem to figure out due to my lack of php knowledge, is this…

I would like for the “Site Wide Activity Stream” to have a link next to each posting that basically allows other users of the site to save that same post to their own activity stream?

Does anybody have any advice for me to get this feature implemented?

    Thanks!

@lint9999 – Use the Favorite option in the activity stream perhaps?

@r-a-y – Thanks for the reply!

I did think of using the Favorite button for this, however I can’t figure out how to have activity postings that people have favorited show up in the “activity stream”, it only shows up in the stream with a favorite filter. Is there any way around that so as to have favorites show up in the main activity stream?

    Thanks again
