@naturalworldstm BuddyPress uses your theme’s page.php file for Theme Compatibility. If the page title, the_title() , is not within the WordPress Loop, then you won’t see the “Create Blog” nor “Create Group” buttons as well as the Nice Names.

the topic created is not showing any post created by the user in bbpress, only just shows “Viewing 2 topics – 1 through 2 (of 2 total)”. Is there a way to solve this issue?

The topics created by the user should show up. Use Twenty Twelve theme to double-check.

Looks like your status updates are working and that you were successful in activating BP 1.7.2 in your site.

@sbnuman first time I’ve seen this issue reported. Have you tried basic troubleshooting like changing to BP Default theme and deactivating other plugins except BP and bbPress?
