To personalise the admin bar I use something like this (bp version 1.5.7)
It seems that your theme has changed things around from ‘normal’. What theme are you using?
One would expect the file ( and line number in bp-default ) to be like: https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/1.5.6/bp-themes/bp-default/registration/register.php#L68
If you have a utility that will search with ‘Find in Files’ such as is available in notepad++ then you might be able to find where it’s been moved to….

You don’t say what your add action is hooked to ( or what the line number refers to ). Do you have a `’walled_garden’` hook in your template?
I would suggest trying the following (I use something similiar but allow access to groups and forums):

I also substitute `add_action( ‘wp_loaded’, ‘sh_walled_garden’ );` on a different site….
`bp_init` and `wp_loaded` are “native” to buddypress/wordpress so you don’t need to create your own template hook….This is in a bp-custom-php file – using buddypress v1.5.5 as I haven’t upgraded to 1.5.6 yet….

If you mean just the database then the newer version bp files will still be there anyway….
