All I have to say about this: if you “try” their platform, make sure you have backups.

So a quick fix is:

add to <head> tags:

<script> function clearCookie() { jq.removeCookie('bp-activity-oldestpage', { path: '/' }); } </script>

And add onload=”clearCookie()” to your <body> tag… Total hack I know. It creates new cookies rather then deleting the previous one so far.

As this is the only bug preventing me from going live with this new site, I’ve spent the entire day messing around with it.

For what it’s worth: the issue lies in the bp-activity-oldestpage cookie.

Hey @sigtric,

When you’re on the menu’s page, hit the Screen Option on the top right.
Check the BuddyPress checkbox and voila 😉

But this has nothing to do with the bp-default theme? This is a theme that is based on twitter bootstrap customized to match with a buddypress site. It also works with WordPress that has no BP enabled…

Thanks for your reply. Im completely aware of this, and even though ANY theme is now compatible with BuddyPress it would look like the basic BP theme that ships with the plugin. For full specific theme integration we’d still have to adjust that to match the theme right?
