I don’t use the buddypress activity plus plugin but I would assume it is js that conflicts with your theme. Maybe it loads jquery from google instead of the included js in WP in the header which you should be able to comment out or remove. This is a third party plugin that has not been updated in a while so you may want to request support on the WPMU DEV forums as well. When WP 3.6 comes out It is supposed to support native audio and video support but I am not sure how or if that will be integrated within the buddypress activity post. If so it will be awesome! Hey thanks! I just added the code to the plugins js file and it worked like a charm!
I also fixed the styling in my child Responsive Theme. Its just a matter of adding floats, and margin. On my bp-default child, twenty twelve child, and simplify theme child all work perfect as well!
Again nice job and thanks for the great plugin!

I would contact that themes author and explain the situation and see if they can help. I am not familiar with that theme but maybe someone else here may have more insight.

Can’t be certain about what would cause this but for starters your using a bunch of outdated plugins and an outdated theme that I believe @modemlooper removed from the repo. When copying the code from here the single quotes get converted which makes the code incorrect. Remove that code and copy and paste the code directly from the below link and that should get it working.

You may have introduced some whitespace in the file. Make sure there is no empty lines before or after the opening and closing php tags as this typically does fire off a headers_already_sent error. If that is not it then please supply the error message.
