You can contact @shanebp and see if he is accepting clients at this time.Thanks for the kind words @joe2000 !
@joe2000
Send that info to bphelp.1@gmail.com I will do my best to get you worked out!@joe2000
I like beer plus I am on vacation so extra beer funds are great. I will help as best I can. What kind of redirect do you have in place already? Can you provide me the code? If the plugin is not going to work out I could write you a custom function but I will need as much detail as you can provide me so I can avoid conflicts with what you already have in place.@joe2000
In line 37 of my plugin after this:
if ( !is_user_logged_in()
add this:
&& !is_home()
This will allow that landing page to logged out users but will redirect to register or wp-login.php depending on which you define in the plugins settings. All other pages other than the landing page will be private.@joe2000
Is your landing page the one you set in dashboard/settings/reading?@shanebp
Interested in this as well. Have you figured it out yet?In reply to: Buddypress x-profile visibility doesn’t work@envieme
I can’t recall it but I have seen this issue on the forums before when it dealt with importing members and not respecting the default profile visibility. Maybe a search through the forums will help and if I am not wrong it was resolved so maybe doing a search can help. If not perhaps another volunteer will provide you a better solution. Good luck!In reply to: someone else’s picture appears@caspergrimaldi
JFYI I didn’t insult you. I am still willing to help if I can so please provide the info. Also you said you have a custom function. Can you provide it so myself and the other volunteers can help you out. For future reference don’t assume your being attacked when a volunteer asks for info okay? If you disabled this plugin that was causing you grief and its still giving you problems then we need to track it down.
I am only trying to help you!In reply to: someone else’s picture appears@caspergrimaldi
Nobody is calling you a dummy! Also bare in mind that is the responsibility for the person posting the topic to provide details on their install on support requests. Volunteers should not have to launch an investigation because you failed to provide such info. If you didn’t provide the info and then you give bad attitude when asked for it then it is likely you will not get the help you need.In reply to: someone else’s picture appears@caspergrimaldi
Please give more complete info on your install. You mentioning “The plugin” is a guessing game and most of us can only spare a little time here and there and we don’t have time to ask every user to provide the details they should have provided when they first opened their thread. Most of the threads you see that no one has answered yet is largely because of this. https://buddypress.org/support/topic/when-asking-for-support-2/
As @hnla has advised you may want to consider hiring a developer. They usually have more advanced knowledge of the things that can be problematic to most novices.In reply to: [Resolved] Missing associated pages?!@kubrix
It means you need to assign those pages if you already have them in dashboard/settings/buddypress/pages then use the dropdown menu’s to associate the pages and save. Else you need to create those pages. I would assume those pages are there since you have members so it is just a matter of associating them.In reply to: Hide members page@kenstansmith
A quick search provided all of these related threads. You should be able to find something in one of them that will point you in the right direction.

Also just to reiterate I signed up and activated an account on your site without an issue other than some crummy CSS in the fields and that was with the theme you was using. Maybe you need to clear your browsers cache and cookies.In reply to: BuddyPress Registration Page Not Working@eve-oliveri
I can’t speculate what it is but maybe your themes author could help since we now have established it is a theme issue and not a BuddyPress issue.In reply to: BuddyPress Registration Page Not Working@eve-oliveri
Follow up, I just registered and activated an account on your site with no issue’s so if another volunteer would be willing to do the same to confirm my findings. Thanks!In reply to: BuddyPress Registration Page Not Working@eve-oliveri
Have you tried activating a known theme that works with BuddyPress like Twenty Twelve or bp-default? This has been covered on the forums before on many occasions so do a search for similar topics. If after activating a known theme that works with BuddyPress and you still have an issue then let us know. More than likely your issue is related to your theme.In reply to: Where is a working demoIn reply to: Where is a working demo@zorro1965
http://testbp.org is defunct. Maybe some of the other volunteers may have the answer as to why but I won’t speculate. If you wanna see working examples of BP sites visit:

It really isn’t necessary to reply on a duplicate topic. Replying to the original as you did should suffice. Cheers!In reply to: [Resolved] Charge visitors to upload filesPlease do not make duplicate topics that regards the same subject matter as it clutters the forum. @mercime and @modemlooper has already responded on the first topic here:

If their suggestions doesn’t work the only options you have is build this functionality yourself or hire a developer to do it for you. You may want to post on the jobs board:
