By asking for help please be more specific in your requirements because it leads to speculation. Supply your installation info as well.In reply to: Ask your BuddyPress questions to a panel at WordSeshWow thanks @karmatosed this sounds really cool.

Strange, it works perfect for me. Maybe its a plugin interfering because on my install I only have BP, BBPress, and Private Community activated. If I log out it redirects me to the registration. If I click the forum nav button it redirects me to registration as well. Do you have other plugins installed besides the ones I listed?In reply to: Can we add a form on here for support request?@modemlooper
I don’t mind helping. I just think it would simplify helping out people if filling out those areas if for the version of WP/BP etc. was a prerequisite before the submit button would work. I don’t expect anyone to put a ton of effort in this so please don’t think that. @hnla Never hurts to ask I suppose. Anyway thank you guys!In reply to: Can we add a form on here for support request?@mercime thanks for clarifying that because I didn’t know.
@modemlooper
My point is if users open a support thread and we have a form that is required for them to fill out then it gives them no option other than to supply the basic info we need to assist them. I don’t intend to be harsh but I just would like it if we had that info in advanced before having to ask for it. I hope this makes sense as it would help all that voluntarily give there time to the forum. As far as the users not knowing the fields are mandatory then we can use whats built into BuddyPress and make those fields required. Does this make sense guys?In reply to: [Resolved] hide profile from non-logged-in users@scotm
If you removed the comments /* */ || bbp_is_single_forum() it should work. I am using a new install of WP 3.5.1 and BP 1.7 and I tested it with the default theme , twenty twelve and the Responsive Theme and it still works for me. Maybe its your theme or a plugin you have installed that is failing. Try a different theme because I can’t replicate the issue.In reply to: [Resolved] hide profile from non-logged-in users@scotm
Please provide a little more info on your install. WP/BP/Themes etc.In reply to: [Resolved] Add image to the adminbar/toolbar/Opening and closing php tags might help!

This should help you achieve your requirement. Pay particular attention to the code on line 78 and after to see how the images are added.@praveshraheja
You need to hire a developer because your requirements takes more than just a few lines of simple code!In reply to: Activity posting twice@fpats
You do not need the template pack plugin anymore. If your getting duplicate activity post then its still not displaying properly. Contact the theme author and request they restructure the theme based on WordPress template structures. They need to adhere to the standards of how WordPress themes are created for theme compatibility to work properly. If not I suggest finding a new theme that adheres to standard WordPress template hierarchy.In reply to: Modifying Buddypress 1.7 Beta@pdillon809
Glad you got it worked out and thanks for explaining the process for novices that may run into the same issue.In reply to: When will 1.7 be released?@lchief
This may not be the answer you want to here but it will be done when its done. Let the core team do what they need to do. When they feel they have enough feed back to release a stable version then they will.In reply to: Default Friend@naijaping
I tried doing a plugin with the help of several members that replicated what you did but your knowledge is better. If you have time can you look over the code? I can list you as the author or whatever you choose. Thanks mate!

Actually that price is not unreasonable and your requirement would take more than some simple code. You need to keep in mind most people including moderators do not get paid to help you and they graciously give what extra time they have to the forum. I am grateful for what these guys do. I don’t mean to be rude but you need to do a little of the legwork yourself and don’t expect others will do it for you everytime you have an issue. Take some initiative and start figuring out what you desire to accomplish!In reply to: How to add a rotation button for changing avatarBuddyPress most likely will never solve everyone’s complex customization issues. I think the core team has done a fantastic job so far and there is going to be certain things you want in BP but it just isn’t a requirement for functionality of the software overall. That is were developers come into play. To extend the software above its core functions. If the core development team integrated every little change every user desired then they would struggle to release updates. I am grateful for all they have done and sometimes you gotta do a little work on your own to get the required result. Just my two cents worth!
In reply to: How to add a rotation button for changing avatar@charlietech
That sounds like it would take a lot of custom coding to get done. If no one else supplies you with a resolution then you may want to hire a developer.

Just because it hasn’t been update in two years doesn’t mean the plugin will fail to perform. Its up to you to test it on a local environment to see if it fails. Redirection is pretty simple so I would guestimate this plugin would still perform its function.In reply to: getting wp-infinite scroll working with BPI used @juanmaguerrero ‘s code and turned it into a plugin:

Use the code in the below URL in either bp-custom.php or in your themes functions.php and it will remove the links!
