admin-ajax.php is a core WordPress file.

I’ve searched for the phrase “new-review-button” in the BuddyPress code, and it doesn’t exist in BuddyPress. Perhaps it’s introduced by some other plugin on your site, but only when BuddyPress is active? I don’t know.

What other plugins and themes are you using?

Are these two sites two separate WordPress installs, or is it one install and you’re using multisite?

Are you talking about changing the group activity stream or the group forums?

I think we may have changed/fixed the count behaviour for the upcoming 2.0 release, but I am not sure and can’t test at the moment.

In terms of refreshing the screen causing the count to clear. It depends on what screen you’re refreshing and what type of notification you’re looking at, but generally speaking, yes this is intended.

Once a user logs in for the first time, they’ll appear in the members directory list. 🙂

@henrywright — BuddyPress doesn’t use WP roles or caps anywhere much yet, so giving edit_users won’t help.

Calling out the core team of contributors or forum moderators is never likely to work at getting attention. We’re all busy and put as much time into the forums as possible for answering questions. 🙂

The invalid activation bug comes up every so often. Last I knew, we’ve not been able to track down why it sometimes doesn’t work.

How do you know the problem is related to file size? Can mobile users upload small images?

Hopefully one day we can get this easy by making all the sub-nav tabs appear in the Appearance > Menus builder. Maybe for 2.1 🙂

BuddyPress doesn’t currently user WordPress’ roles/capabilities systems. I haven’t looked at the code in while, but I’m pretty sure it’s going to be challenging to either add a new “role” or change the behaviours that are currently assigned to Group Mods/Admins/Members.

How exactly does BuddyPress not work with this at the moment? Does everything else work fine, including blog permalinks?

This might be related to a theme or another plugin you are running, but your production server shouldn’t be showing PHP Warnings. Your webhost can probably help you stop those showing up.
