In reply to: Getting Rss Error
It is because you are running PHP4. See http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=27626. I suggest you upgrade to PHP5 (PHP4 was end-of-life’d on 2008-08-08).
There might be a workaround but I’m unwilling to suggest it as I haven’t got a PHP4 installation that I can test it on.
In reply to: register.php not working (but wp-signup.php does)Are you using a custom home theme – if you are, then it’s because you haven’t updated it to support v1 properly. I think you are missing the functions.php file.
You can’t in this version of BP.
In reply to: Stylesheet not loading for Default Member ThemeExactly
In reply to: Problems with sprintf in translation
In reply to: Default Blog ThemeYes, of course. You can do anything you want. Suggest you read https://buddypress.org/forums/topic.php?id=1632
In reply to: [Adjust Time Zone]Arturo, Andy Peatling is the main (only?) developer behind BuddyPress. He should know when he says something like that.
In reply to: Problems with sprintf in translationIt looks like it *should* work. Guess we’ll have to wait to here from someone else who has done a translation if they get the problem.
In reply to: Problems with sprintf in translationbp-groups.php line 1005, right?
'content' => apply_filters( 'bp_groups_created_group_activity', sprintf( __('%s created the group %s', 'buddypress'), $user_link, '<a href="' . $group_link . '">' . $group->name . '</a>') . ' <span class="time-since">%s</span>', $user_link, $group_link, $group->name )As Arturo’s suggested, check you are working from the .pot file that comes with 1.0. It’s possible it was changed since an older version thus your translation not being applied.
In reply to: Stylesheet not loading for Default Member ThemeAs per Andy’s comment, http://www.beerandblog.com/wp-content/bp-themes/bpmember/css/loader.php is returning 404. Usually if it’s a permission on the file system, you get a different error code sometimes.
Does that file exist in that path when you look in your FTP?
In reply to: BBPress Integration Finalise ErrorWell try it anyway and see if you still get the error or not. Like I said, doing the above’s got everything working fine for me.
No, not yet. Future versions you would be able to, but I’m not aware of any timescale for this yet.
In reply to: Stylesheet not loading for Default Member ThemeYou need to move the home theme to wp-content/themes/ and keep the member theme in wp-content/bp-themes/ (bpmember)
In reply to: Antispam pluginPossible user error.
@Arturo – check this from the readme. You might have missed it to.
To install in WordPress MU (Forced Activation/Site-Wide):
1. Upload the
wp-recaptchafolder to the/wp-content/mu-pluginsdirectory1. **Move** the
wp-recaptcha.phpfile out of thewp-recaptchafolder so that it is in/wp-content/mu-plugins1. Now you should have
/wp-content/mu-plugins/wp-recaptcha.phpand/wp-content/mu-plugins/wp-recaptcha/1. Go to the administrator menu and then go to **Site Admin > reCAPTCHA**
1. Get the reCAPTCHA keys [here](http://recaptcha.net/api/getkey?domain=www.blaenkdenum.com&app=wordpress \”reCAPTCHA API keys\”) and/or the MailHide keys [here](http://mailhide.recaptcha.net/apikey \”MailHide keys\”)
In reply to: GD libraryAh hah
In reply to: BBPress Integration Finalise ErrorI can’t remember what the labels are called, but I just went in and enabled the ‘wp integration’, ‘cookie integration’ checkboxes etc during install and fill in the info it asked for, some of which was various cookie salts.
In reply to: Antispam pluginHi Jeff
Yeah I tried that, but I couldn’t even see the reCaptcha menu item in the Admin after enabled it. I assume you’re using WPMU 2.7.1 – did you put reCaptcha into mu-plugins/ or plugins/, and did you enable it Site Wide or only on the main blog?
In reply to: GD librarygood job
To clarify for future questions around this area: did you have GD disabled, then you enabled it, and then you also had to re-upload the pics?
Or did you just re-upload the pics without making *any* changes?
In reply to: BBPress Integration Finalise ErrorAre you specifying, in this case, the salts and keys from wp-config.php at that stage in the bbpress installation, or are you leaving them blank to do it later?
If you are leaving them blank, try completing them now as I think that might work around the problem.
In reply to: GD libraryWhat are the permissions, owner/group of your /wp-content/blogs.dir/ folders? The user the webserver is running obviously needs to have access.
In reply to: BBPress Integration Finalise Errorwpmu 2.7.1, bp 1.0, bbpress 1.0-Alpha-6.
bbpress installed in http://example.com/forum/.
In reply to: BBPress Integration Finalise ErrorYour not trying this with WordPress are you? (as opposed to WordPress MU)
In reply to: BBPress Integration Finalise ErrorI installed bbpress just a few hours ago so I know it works. Hmm.
Are you using the same DB user account for both WPMU and bbpress? And you are sure that database ‘db62393_fabricadesuenos_comunidad’ table ‘wp_option’ doesn’t exist?
In reply to: BBPress Integration Finalise ErrorI can see your database is db62393_fabricadesuenos_comunidad. Is this the same database where both WPMU and BBPress have been installed? The error message says the wp_options table doesn’t exist.
Either installation of WPMU has not been done properly and the table doesn’t exist, or it is looking in the wrong database.
In reply to: get_site_option() not found, fatal error triggeredYou are trying to use BuddyPress with WordPress. BuddyPress needs WordPress MU which you can get from https://mu.wordpress.org/download/. In future versions, BuddyPress will work with regular WordPress but at the moment it doesn’t.
And before you ask ‘how long’, I suspect it will be quite a while before BuddyPress supports WordPress.
