@sbrajesh i am using the default theme twenty-seventeen. I cant find a buddypress folder on it. what do you suggest i do? what free theme do you recommend i use at this time?

I am having the same problem though i am using default twenty-seventeen theme. It still isnt working till now, users are pilled up but cant verify their accounts.

Doesnt work

all the big people keep posting this link, it doenst work, everything is in order but it wont just work. Why not include the activation code to their email so that they can copy it. I activated someones email by copying it from the address bar, now i have a bunch of users piled up that cant activate i know its because they are not seeing it in the box and dont know that they can activate it via copying from browser address.

It didn’t work. I have checked and rechecked it with the default twenty-seventeen theme, still, it doesn’t automatically put the code into the box.

Could it be a problem with the host?

Did you know what that means? I was really pissed at that time that it didn’t work. But I couldn’t just be pissed to the one guy that tried to salvage the situation. Also, the plugin stated clearly that changes will vanish upon WP update. It’s not the right tool for the solution.

If that plugin can really do that then it is not user-friendly, it’s as if the developers just did it in a way only him can easily use it.

I was not able to change friends to connections.

the password protection didn’t work, the activity just loaded without skipping a thing. I think the password feature is for admin against editors or something else.

I will just try using CSS. If i succeed i will update here.
