Hi again,

We’ve upgraded to 1.7 and still need to install template pack for this to display properly, unfortunately.

This also means we’re still getting duplicate posts in the activity stream, groups etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙁

Can anyone help with this? We’re going to have to uninstall Buddypress if it can’t be fixed which i really don’t want to do 🙁

@mercime the theme is supposed to be buddypress ready but isn’t and only works properly with the template pack. It’s a Themeforest theme called MADE

I’m using WP3.51 and the BP1.7 beta2

I’ve disabled all plugins leaving only BP and we still have the duplicated posts, it’s a real nightmare.

I’ve installed trunk too and was under the impression it’d work out of the box with any theme but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Is still something you’re working on?

it’s the onecommunity theme, a new one on themeforest.

I’ve never had an option to join/leave groups in the group directory on any theme. Only when you click through to a group page can you join.

Is there a plugin for this, I can’t find anything or am i misunderstanding this thread?

didn’t test all but Firefox & Chrome weren’t working.
i tried to reply to a post in the buddyshare forum then send a public message to it’s developer but the page just refreshed. I’ll try again tomorrow 🙂

Done that already, the errors only occur when Buddypress is installed.

Here’s one of many errors we get, this one is currently showing in the sidebar Groups widget..

Hi,
i’ve spoken to my hosts who’ve increased the memory limit to 256m but nothng’s changed and they’ve shifted the blame to us saying we need to optimize the database. I’ve done that via a plugin and still we’re getting the errors so i’m now totally confused and stressed out. Can’t believe i’m doing this on NYE to be honest but it needs fixing asap.

Could it be time to change hosts to someone better, are they full of cr @p or is there anything else i can do?

It lets me upload and crop so i get this message…

but then nothing or if i hit refresh i get an error saying
There was a problem cropping your avatar, please try uploading it again

Hi, did anyone find a solution?
I’m able to upload and crop avatars for our groups but not for profiles for some reason. We just get an error after cropping every time.

No it works now and works great, sometimes the free ones are the best 😀

Thanks alot for that, it works well but it’s totally messed up the font colours now and the menu items are unreadable.

Would love for something to work straight out of the box just once.

I think i’m trying to do the same, do you mean adding a menu link so the user can visit their own profile?

I’m really shocked this is so difficult, it’s surely one of the most important things in setting up a social network.
