I’ve checked, and there was no ticket about this.

I’ve opened a new one, visible there: https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/956

Thanks to you Jeff and all the BP community for your support!

    Hello tallydigtalbiz,

To send a message to all members, I’ve found this plugin, i didn’t try it, maybe it can help you: Sitewide newsletters

    Hello accentix,

Yes, 1 wpmu-buddypress installation = 1 social network. But each new member can add blogs as subdomain (or subdirectory).

And is there a way for the BP Administrator to disable some e-mail notification by default for all the users? (i.e. new post wire e-mail notification Yes to No by default for everybody, for example)

    Thanks!

I actually have the same problem.

I’ve tried this patch https://trac.buddypress.org/attachment/ticket/909/909-jjj.patch but it still doesn’t work: I can’t say yes or no, there’s no button, just the question. Is it still working with your BP install JJJ?

    Thanks!

    I’m running WordPress MU 2.8.4a + BuddyPress 1.0.3

    Hello Roy McKenzie,

I had the same problem. This work for me:

In your admin page, widgets page, you have 2 sitewide activities:

    – one at the top of this page

    – one at the bottom of this page

Try to use the one at the bottom, your settings should be saved.

    I hope it will work!;-)

    Hello jdoe_,

Just to say I’m running WordPress MU 2.8.4a + BuddyPress 1.0.3. as well, and the activity is working well in the member profil.

I hope you’ll find an answer to your problem,

Is it possible to know which name it is?

And if you try with an other name, does it work for you?

It’s working well for me Erich73, and I’ve just tried with your name.

Maybe have a look in this file, lines 586 (more or less):

    /wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-templatetags.php

    Hello Baraberle,

    Have a look there:

    /wp-content/bp-themes/bpmember/images

    and

    /wp-content/themes/bphome/images

You should find what you want.

I think you can do it in your bbpress admin.

I’m not sure but if you don’t install bbpress as group forum, the group option “create a forum” appears once (when you create the 1st group), and next disappears.

    M,

There you can download the Toksta Chat Plugin: http://bp-dev.org/plugins/toksta-chat-plugin/
