Was sorta hoping to make some coin with this theme. wp.org wont do that for me.

Ah I see! Yeah, in that case you’ll need a different approach to advertising it.

You’d just submit it as you would a normal WordPress theme, but specify that it provides support for BuddyPress. See some examples:

To answer that question I think you’ve just got to put it out there. Making it available on the wp.org will attract far more attention than this forum topic 🙂

The error message is telling us that the undefined function bp_has_forum_topics() is being used in your theme’s front-page.php on line 122. I suspect you don’t have forums activated?

That’s odd. Try disabling all plugins and using TwentyFifteen to see if them problem resolves.

You usually make customisations to your theme’s style via the functions.php file. Considering you’re using a premium theme, the author should provide support. Try writing to them asking how you can make your needed changes.

Thanks for posting your code. I’m pretty sure the bp_blogs_activity_new_post_action hook fires when you create an activity post, not when you create a new WP “post”

Considering your $activity_action should be “username created a new Post” but “username wrote a new item” is appearing, then your activity action is obviously being ignored.

I struggled to see much from the screenshot you shared via tinypic.com. I just see various pop-ups and adverts. It might be worth sharing images with a service such as imgur.com instead going forward.
