Have a look at buddypressdev.org, Nicola has already developed a plugin for that!

I think this plugin would be very important because every community that grows will need multiple databases otherwise everything won’t get bigger..

I hope Nicola or Andy will do something in this way..

I did the same concerning the columns, but this is not what brings the ie Problem, its some kind of a problem with margin: 0 auto; in body.

If you open buddypress demo and you have a big screen you will see (on making ie browser smaller) that elements like avatars and some other content are getting weird.

I think this is some kind of a serious bug, which needs to be fixed in next versions.. I was centering/scaling down buddypress (because now it looks much better (; ) and got confronted with this problem.. Maybe a Javascript could fix that..

    Hi Brad..

That looks very good. Does it work with groups as well?

    Could you offer the code?

    What about the “selected” bug?!

    Cheers

    What a mess..

I hope that bug will be fixed in further releases.. I don’t even know if they noticed this bug?!

What fixes the bug is a “margin” for body in external ie.css file..

Looks not very good but better then having those scaling problems..

Did you notice that when you refresh on having iexplorer at a small size elements aren’t at wrong places anymore? But when you after that enlarge the browser elements stay where they are..

    Hehe..

Same as I tried.. If you reduce width, iexplorer has problems with showing elements correctly when scaling down.. Avatars are not at right position etc. .. Firefox looks perfect.. I hate Iexplorer (; Your theme as well has problems with iexplorer. Try to scale down and reduce width of browser your background is squeezing

well great looking but some scaling problems with internetexplorer.. I had to fight with it too, now i just used margin, doesn’t looks very good when scaling down, but elements stay where they are..

The Buddypress demo isn’t centered as screenshot is! I was installing RC1 and its not centered, but full size!

well i meant that the theme is centered and has white border on the right/left.. That was exactly what I was trying all the time.. (for advertising and Web2.0 looking reasons..)

    Hi Nicola,

What about the Profile_Sidebar? Does it work correctly? I’ve installed Buddypress (version befor RC1) and MU 2.7 but profile sidebar doesn’t show up. I can see it in the Widget section but when i add a widget it still doesn’t show up on profile..

And what about the Friend widget??

    But thats some kind of strange because the demo should show the functions of buddypress.. So there shouldn’t be extra code added or?! Maybe somebody could poste that code here (;

Have a look at the “About” Page and scroll down, as you can see Photo Albums will be part of future buddypress releases..

Well this is some kind of confusing.. I open my site with internet explorer. It shows correctly on maximum browser size. But when i smaller the browser avatars, buttons and activity are in same position as with maximum size. When I refresh Internet Explorer everything shows up correctly. When I go back to maximum size, avatars, buttons and activity are in same position as with small size. When I refresh, again everything looks correctly, I never had something like this before when working on stylesheets.. Do you have a suggestion? Did you try it?

    cheers

Are you using wpmu 2.6 or 2.7? I’m using 2.6 might be the problem?!

Allright it works.. But i don’t understand why this doesn’t work on registration. You have to fill out your Name on registration so you should be found without updating your profile.. Any Idea how to fix that?

Hm.. But in buddypress demo it works fine so where is the problem?

Allright.. I centered buddypress and the columns.

What really fucks me up is Internet Explorer which shows avatars and infos on wrong places when making window smaller. Firefox is perfect.

Do you know how to fix that? Should i give body width in percent or pixels? I tried both but both were causing problems on IE same as for the columns.

    Help me ^^
