@jamiethecomic where does the register page redirect to? If you are logged in and you go to the register page, you will be redirected to home page. You have to be logged out first to reach the register page.

@reneappeldoorn that’s because in your theme the page title is located outside the WP loop.  You can create a link for Group creation url  example.com/groups/create

In the same vein, if you’re on multisite and allowing users to create blogs, then you’d also need to create a link example.com/blogs/create

@bill-king What theme are you using? Custom-coded probably with own proprietary way of rendering WP pages so we cannot filter the page title for BuddyPress pages. Change to Twenty Twelve or BP Default theme and those warnings will go away.

If you mean the BP Template Pack plugin by “BP Template” plugin then you shouldn’t need to use that plugin with BP 1.7 … unless theme author instructions require you to do so?

As for your CSS problem. Getting 500 error when I don’t want cookies.

When I try to register a new member, the register page redirect to itself, not registering a new member.

Has the Huddle theme been updated for BP 1.7? Did you check with theme author? If you change to BP Default theme, does registration work then?

I allowed everybody to register in the config page as a subscriber.

@ghyatt As I mentioned above, the menu links are there. They’re just hidden behind that purple band which you should be able to remove – theme options perhaps. What you can do is to send the pages ending with -2 to Trash. Open up Trash and retrieve the pages without the -2 ending, then delete the others permanently.
