@sadninja try re-uploading BuddyPress manually i.e. s/FTP
looks like some files are missing

@girhagen the label Order by: and the selectbox are on different lines because your theme has styled “label” as display: block. You would need to override the style by adding the following at the bottom of your theme’s stylesheet/style.css

#subnav label {
display: inline;
}

@lordgault have you tried changing to twenty twelve theme and checked if it’s a theme conflict

@tibmix not sure why, there are too many variables involved. WP/BP versions? If BP 1.6.5 or BP 1.7, are you using bbPress plugin for your forums – sitewide or group forums? If you deactivate BuddyPress, are your issues with bbPress forums resolved?

@2dca could be theme conflict. Change to BP Default theme and check if issue is resolved.

I’d like to keep running as a child theme and only change what I need.

@binarymon as hnla mentioned above, you can just copy over and revise the template files you want to change to your child theme following the directory structure of the BP Default theme.

@minhtran So if you change to BP default theme, can you post status update?

@sdglhm You mean you’re on BP 1.7? If so, then the default style for the avatars in the widget area is not showing up in your theme. Site url?
