Of course it works. You’re redirected to home page when you click on the register page while you’re logged in. As for activation key/emails what’s your BP/WP version? Have you changed to bp-default theme and have you deactivated other plugins to check if issue is resolved?
@saggse the registration page falls back on the home page because you were logged in when you clicked on the registration page. Off-topic but related, to remove the -3 after register-3 in your URL, you need to delete the old Register pages permanently and then change the slug register-3 to register in your page edit panel.
@mythusmage You can use any 3 column WordPress theme and then install the BP Template Pack plugin and go through the Appearance > BP compatibility process.
Change to BP Default theme and check if the issue is corrected. If not, deactivate plugins (except BuddyPress) by batches to find the rogue plugin. What’s installed at domain root http://www.domain.com ?
@chamaxou basic troubleshooting includes changing to BP default theme and/or deactivating all plugins except BuddyPress to check what’s causing the conflict with your Add/Cancel friendship requests.
@catyco If that subdomain is part of a multisite installation at http://www.mainsite.com/ i.e., virtual subdomain at mysubdomain.mainsite.com, then you just set which blog ID BuddyPress will run on: define ( 'BP_ROOT_BLOG', $blog_id );
where $blog_id is replaced by the blog ID # e.g., 2
Both projects are supported by respective plugin devs. Whether the plugin is released for free or not, or changed mind to do so is not relevant to this discussion. Please post at respective plugins’ forums for more information.
@monkfish13 For BP Album, the plugin devs are working on BP Media http://code.google.com/p/buddypress-media/ Check out the system requirements and read documentation before installing in test installation/server first. Having said that, I may be wrong but I gathered that BP Album is still good for current BP/WP.
As for BP Gallery, the plugin has always been updated to latest BP/WP versions http://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-gallery/ Been using it since Feb 2010 circa BP 1.2 for different sites.
