@floridabeautiesinhd Open up your clearvideo theme’s header.php file; copy all code; paste to pastebin.com; click submit; and post the generated URI here. Do the same for your theme’s index.php, page.php, sidebar.php and footer.php files.
I suppose this is related to your post https://buddypress.org/community/groups/how-to-and-troubleshooting/forum/topic/remove-subscribers-from-activity-feed/ ? If so, you are wasting the time of volunteers who respond to that post which did not indicate that you had a User Account Type plugin activated.
Not quite clear what you mean. The role of BP Member by default is Suscriber. So do be more speicific.
In reply to: Easel Theme – Buddypress Alignment problemGot to see what’s going on. Site url? Test username and password?
@ed161718 I will address your question at the link you posted above so we have one forum topic about easel woes.
@floridabeautiesinhd do start a new topic for your issue and I’ll help you there.
You don’t have BuddyPress activated in your installation. If you activate it again, you need BP Template Pack plugin activated to make your theme compatible with BuddyPress.
== @jamesewelch => WordPress version 3.3.2 ==
Deactivate BuddyPress and bbPress. Upgrade to WP 3.4 first. Then activate and upgrade BuddyPress and bbPress to latest versions.
Deactivate BuddyPress via FTP/cpanel/etc by renaming buddypress plugin folder in wp-content/plugins and you will gain access to admin. Did you upgrade to WP 3.4 before upgrading BuddyPress?
So was it a white screen or other kind of error which you could check in error logs?
In reply to: Adding Dynamic Profile Link to Main Menu Item@wpissues I just tested the code in Custom Community Version 1.8.9.1 from the WP Theme Repo and it’s working fine. Even showed up in both custom menus. If you still haven’t fixed this, post all code you currently have in your functions.php file in pastebin.com
Please make sure that your WP installation has been set up properly – pretty-permalinks included – before installing BuddyPress. In this vein, please post your mod_rewrite issue at the proper forum https://wordpress.org/support/forum/localhost-installs

mod_rewrite must be enabled in your server https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/before-installing/#system-server
BuddyPress is not activated in your installation. Do post again when it’s back on.
In reply to: [Resolved] Remove Comment under Activity Feed@goviral Closed your other thread with basically the same questions.
1. To remove commenting (and comment button) in activity stream,
Just add this to your theme’s functions.php file
`// Do not allow commenting in activity stream
add_filter(‘bp_activity_can_comment’,’__return_false’);`2. is there any way I can change other buttons/icons through the child theme?
Simplest way is to use text-indent to the specific button and add the image background. For example, for the Activity Favorite button, you’d add something like this in your theme’s style.css file
`#activity-stream .activity-meta .fav {
background: #000 url(“images/myfavoriteimage.png”) 0 0 no-repeat;
text-indent: -9999px;
}`then change background color or image when you hover over the favorite link. Use Firefox add-on Firebug or use Chrome developer to identify selectors to change styles/values for in your stylesheet.
In reply to: Change Favorites button to my own icon/wordIn reply to: Problems with Layout of profilesGot a 404 on your link and BuddyPress was not activated in your install when I checked it.
In reply to: Edit profile no longer workingChange to bp-default theme and check if issue is corrected.
BP requires pretty permalinks. Go to Settings > Permalinks and set permalink to other than what’s there on default.
In reply to: Signatures on forum postsNo, you’d need to create a totally different plugin to add signature to the Group Forums as it’s using the bbPress 1.0 custom BuddyPress version while that plugin is for the totally revamped bbPress 2.+ .
There was a plugin for the old BP1.2/bbPress1.+ but it was not updated for BP 1.5 https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-group-forum-extras/ you could try to update yourself or hire a developer to do so.
Other than the above, you could wait for BP 1.6 where Group Forums will be migrated over to bbPress 2.+ Sitewide Forums where you could use the signature plugin.
@karljung from your post at https://buddypress.org/community/groups/installing-buddypress/forum/topic/compatability-with-enews-theme-from-elegant-themes/
I just checked out the BP pages in your site. Looks like you’ve already completed the major part of the compatibility process. The layout structure looks good and you only need to tweak the styles to correct some vertical spacing and removing the bullets from ordered lists, etc.
@karljung let’s bring it back to your original topic https://buddypress.org/community/groups/installing-buddypress/forum/topic/begging-plz-help-buddypress-default-theme-clashes-issues-with-suffusion/
