`Or, you might consider changing main navigation to a custom menu http://justintadlock.com/archives/2010/06/01/goodbye-headaches-hello-menus
In reply to: BuddyPress 1.5 updated themes list@karmatosed adding my thanks for getting this going
Hopefully, we’ll be adding more child themes in repo.I recall seeing that issue in WP.org forums for WP 3.2 and it was fixed for WP 3.2.1 with BP 1.2.9. One of plugins by WP core devs could also help you https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/hotfix/
In reply to: how to remove a page from buddypress nav menu@porkchops1987 It can be as easy as opening up your theme’s header.php and delete the other links you don’t need. What theme are you using?
In reply to: Change single tab colour@naijaping you’d have to add classes to the links you wanted to highlight to change the link color of each link. Or, you might want to change navigation links to use wp_nav_menu where you could easily target the links to implement your customizations. Here’s an easy tutorial on adding wp_nav_menu to your theme http://justintadlock.com/archives/2010/06/01/goodbye-headaches-hello-menus
In reply to: How to add more tabs to the navigation barYou’d have to open up header.php of your theme and find the navigation links then probably hardcode the links to the page/s of your plugin. Hard to tell, no info on what theme you’re using or what method you use to call nav links in your theme.
In reply to: BuddyPress 1.5 compatibility for plugins and themes@suchaqd no, you didn’t both your install. https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/3389

In reply to: Change single tab colour@naijaping what theme are you using and how are nav items generated in your theme? If you’re using child theme of bp-default, there are CSS classes automatically which you can target for styling currently selected items.
For BP 1.2.9 there’s .selected and .current_page_item classes
`ul#nav li.selected a, ul#nav li.current_page_item a {
background: #f5f5f5;
color: #555;
}`For upcoming BP 1.5 bp-default using wp_nav_menu, there’s .selected, .current-menu-item, .current_page_item, and even current_page_ancestor
`#nav li.selected a,
#nav > li.current-menu-item a,
#nav > li.current_page_item a,
#nav > li.current_page_ancestor a {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #F5F5F5;
color: #4D4D4D;
}`In reply to: Editing my theme to work with BP 1.5-beta2In activity/index.php – at the top replace
``with
`<?php
/**
* @package WordPress
* @subpackage Clockstone_Theme_1.1.1
*/
get_header();
$page_layout = get_post_meta(get_the_ID(), ‘page_layout’, true);
if (!$page_layout){ $page_layout = ‘sidebar_bg’; }
?>
<?php
if ($page_layout == ‘sidebar_bg’){
echo ‘‘;
} elseif ($page_layout == ‘sidebar_bg sidebar_left’){
echo ‘‘;
} else {
echo ‘‘;
}
?>`At the bottom of activity/index.php, replace
``
with
``
Let’s see how that goes
In reply to: Navigation menu at the bottom of the pageLooks like you’ve fixed it since I see nothing out of kilter in your site (looks good btw) using FF, IE and Safari.
Same thing I mentioned here
In reply to: Navigation menu at the bottom of the pageJust to clarify, your main navigation menu is showing up twice in your screen? Is this with a custom theme or in bp-default child theme?
In reply to: MediaWiki Theme Integration@LPH2005 In /wiki/extensions/Calendar/templates/default.css find
`table tr td, table tr th {
padding: 8px;
vertical-align: middle;
}`
change padding: 8px; to padding: 7px;In reply to: How would I?@akyleadam what you’re trying to change was the text string “Topic created successfully” into e.g. “when submit is liked if the post was successful – do this instead of that” and the links I gave could do that.
Take the first link, instead of creating a plugin, you can add this to your active theme’s functions.php – replacing the text string in that post to your own:
`class PJW_Translation_Mangler {
/**
* Filter the translation string before it is displayed.
*
* @param $translation The current translation
* @param $text The text being translated
* @param $context The context for the translation
* @param $domain The domain for the translation
* @return string The translated / filtered text.
*/
function filter_gettext($translation, $text, $domain) {
$translations = &get_translations_for_domain( $domain );
if ( $text == ‘Topic created successfully’ ) {
return $translations->translate( ‘when submit is liked if the post was successful – do this instead of that’ );
}
return $translation;
}
}
add_filter(‘gettext’, array(‘PJW_Translation_Mangler’, ‘filter_gettext’), 10, 4);`You see where I’ve substituted you own terms with that of the code given by Westi
In reply to: Please check out my siteMany are wary of email harvesters. If you do want some feedback, create and post a generic username and password here. You can later delete said user after testing period.

If you created the site even in single WP you should have access to all BP options. Check wp_users table in DB
