EDIT – didn’t see you there DJPaul, I sure took my time to answer
Check out this trac ticket. Know however, that in upcoming BP 1.5, the bp_page_title has been deprecated and WP’s wp_title will be used instead.
== As far as the coding goes, am I supposed to start from scratch or copy over all the files from the plugin / bp-default directory? ==
Depends on what modifications you’d like to implement and how you want to go about it.
Create a child theme of bp-default – https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/building-a-buddypress-child-theme/ – you can import the bp-default default.css in your style.css and make the revisions as well as copy over one or more template files/s from bp-default theme if needed
or use a WP Theme and install the BP Template Pack plugin and go through the process

There’s no available documentation in the BP codex at this time. Big assistance in theme styling is Firefox add-on Firebug https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/firebug/
De rien. De nada. Prego. Welcome to BuddyPress
@tomcos Double-checked source code of your other regular pages. You need to wrap content with additional `
You should be able to get free support for your premium theme at BuddyDress.
@RPD If you mean this theme, https://wordpress.org/extend/themes/animass, then we’ll use the WP page.php file as guide in the transformation.
Open up the activity/index.php file transferred to your anIMass folder in server. At the top, replace:
`
with

At the bottom of the same file, replace:

Save and then do the same for the remaining files https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/wordpress-to-buddypress-theme/#revise-templates
Looks like a souped up template file. What theme are you using? You can post code of your WP theme’s page.php at pastebin.com. Click submit and post generated URL here.
bp-default theme has default custom header support. Add this to your child theme’s functions.php file:
`// Disable bp-default theme’s custom header support
define( ‘BP_DTHEME_DISABLE_CUSTOM_HEADER’, true );`
== I did change the code in bb-config.php ==
bb-config.php is automatically generated if you go through the BP Forums set-up. You shouldn’t have to change anything in the code.
== Is it possible to use a different forum service and integrate it into groups? ==
You can install a different forum but you would need to create/code a bridge to WP (if forum you choose is not a WP plugin) as well as bridge to BP groups.
Usually, it just involves changing the order of the links in header.php or changing order using wp_nav_menu. What theme are you using?
You can create a file, bp-custom.php, post in necessary code and upload to your wp-content/plugins directory
Wrap link
`
<li class=”selected”>
<a href="//” title=””>

== If I don’t have bp-config.php I just create it inthe buddypress plugin directory, right? ==
The internal Forum installation process will automatically generate the “bb-config.php” at root of your install when you go through the process.
`div.item-list-tabs ul {
list-style: none;
}`
@tomchurch wrap code between backticks “`
@karmatosed thanks for updating https://codex.buddypress.org/releases/1-5-plugin-compatibility/
== Then what is the problem with BuddyPress Enabled site? ==
Nothing. “Site Creation Wizard” plugin hasn’t been updated since WP 3.0.4 and while it may work for you in current WP version, the BP version then was 1.2.6/1.2.7 and a lot has been changed since those versions to current BP 1.2.9.
Have you posted this in WP.org forums or contacted plugin author?
Create a BP child theme https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/building-a-buddypress-child-theme/
Copy over header.php from bp-default theme to your new child theme folder
Open up header.php and make changes there, save and upload child theme folder to server and activate.
Go to pastebin.com and paste the code there. Click submit and post the generated URL here. Cheers.
