@modemlooper hi, I have a question about the widget theme. Using the thin – wide – thin the center column doesn’t expand to the size of content in the column, but the other two do – anyway to easily fix this?

@Modemlooper : thanxs for your theme, it’s of great help to handle Buddypress. I’ve got a problem though.. when i use the Thin Wide Thin template, if the second (wide) column is longer than the others, then the bottom part of it does not display.. any idea ?

sometimes when you copy items from a folder on harddrive to server via ftp program it misses hidden files like .htaccess

You can create a file htaccess.txt add the rewrite code then upload it after upload change the name of the file to .htaccess

@Modemlooper – I use it on several sites. Maybe something else is tripping up the site. What version of WP and BP are you using?

This may not still be the case, but I was under the impression that external-group-blogs was not compatible with the latest version of BP.   Thanks for contacting me but I’m currently not doing custom work. Too busy creating themes to sell. Try the tab above EXTEND and check out some of the themes available. Also google ‘buddypress themes’

    I already googled for Buddypress themes, and so far there aren’t many available. Only WORDPRESS themes , there are millions for wordpres but so few for Buddypress! Wich i find a pitty 🙁
    
    I didn’t find a theme above ‘extend’ on this site, or did you mean in my own Buddypress installation?

@Modemlooper I ‘kind of’ agree with you when you say post_types are for individual pieces of content, but also disagree. Post types allows me to create a new object where I can assign multiple attributes to that object type ‘metadata, taxonomies’.     It’s suppose to be like that. It’s padding for #leftSidebar. you can always change the css to fit your own needs.

      I’ll try with the CSS but I am not much of a developer. I guess I just don’t understand why plugins in your design should start 30px lower on the left hand side than they do on the right.

      The right side has the login form at top. If you remove it I guess you’s need to fix the spacing.

@Modemlooper – it’s already being rewritten in a way in versions BP1.2.4/BP1.3-bleeding … started between BP trunk-r2990 to trunk-r3000. Pleasant surprise.
