Awesome 🙂
In reply to: How to use bp_nouveau_plugin_hookGreat to know that it worked for you 🙂
This is a fine approach always to create a menu/tab on profile and then display your content there either by echoing your own HTML or calling a template.
Thanks
Hi,
You have to perform some jquery tricks to output the button there and then you can perform your rest of the functionality like you have to perform your functionality on click event.
You can follow this link https://www.w3schools.com/jquery/html_insertafter.asp to insert button.
Thanks
In reply to: Embed an Activity stream like in Group & ProfilesThat’s great 🙂
In reply to: Overridding Email Tokensok, great 🙂
In reply to: How to undo a functionDo you have any cache plugin there?
In reply to: Change member URL on members directory page?Hi,
I think you have two pages with the same name that’s why slug becomes members-2. If you have deleted the other page then just edit members-2 page and there edit the slug.
Please see: https://bloggertowp.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/edit-slug.png
Just click on edit and change the slug from members-2 to members.
Thanks
In reply to: How to undo a functionThere must be a cache which is creating the issue. Please do clear your site cache as well as browser cache.

In reply to: List a type of users with all profile fieldsHello,
Please check with this plugin https://github.com/wbcomdesigns/bp-modify-member-directory-header once if it is working fine for you or not.
You can follow this thread https://buddypress.org/support/topic/adding-profile-fields-to-members-directory/ as well.
Thanks
In reply to: Buddypress Profile ErrorTry saving permalink and check again. If it is still not working please make wp-debug to true, https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG, to see if there is any error.

In reply to: Member map in learndash websiteBy updating do you mean that when a new member registers it is not immediately listing on map and members page?
You can write this css code:
form#members-directory-form { display: none; }and then a jquery code:
jQuery('#members_search_submit').on('click', function(){ jQuery('form#members-directory-form').show(); });Hopefully, it will do the trick for you.
Thanks
In reply to: Embed an Activity stream like in Group & ProfilesYou can try this plugin as well https://wordpress.org/plugins/shortcodes-for-buddypress/ and try shortcode
[activity-listing object = groups]In reply to: Overridding Email TokensI feel your request is very much of your own and there is nothing wrong to fetch users name using this function bp_core_get_user_displayname. You can still request them, also have you tried the filter I have provided?
In reply to: Member map in learndash websiteHi, kashifkiduniya
Have you tried this geomywp.com/extensions/buddypress-members-directory-geolocation/ ?
I can see it is working fine. Please see: https://prnt.sc/kkszoe
If there will be an error in the form then only it will restrict you from moving and will show the error field/message as well.
Thanks
In reply to: Buddypress Profile ErrorWhich template pack you are using nouveau or legacy? If nouveau then try switching to legacy and see if it is working for you or not.
In reply to: Filtering Activity FeedYou have placed the code in parent theme’s functions.php which is not correct, because in future you will have an update of the theme and when you will update these changes will be lost. So you should always paste any new code in child theme’s functions.php. In case it is not working there and you are not able to get it why? then install this https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/ plugin and try adding code under snippets and see if it is working fine. Also before placing code with this plugin just remove it from your functions.php otherwise if the same code will be there on both places then it will generate a fatal error.
When I moved the code to the functions.php in the social-portfolio folder, it worked exactly as expected.
Thanks
Yes, that is possible by removing the following capabilities from the role:
edit_users
create_users
delete_usersOnce it is removed from the role then users from that particular role will not be able to create/edit/delete users.
Please follow this link: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/remove_cap
Thanks
