In reply to: Welcome Form on WP PageYou have to use the shortcode in the template wherever you want.
In reply to: how to remove component from bp notifications?Have you tried asking at the plugin support forum?
In reply to: Buddypress widget as shortcodesHi,
If you do not want to use plugins then I will suggest to write a new one for yourself. You can take references from all those shortcode plugins.
If you don’t want to write shortcodes then please check this thread https://buddypress.org/support/topic/how-to-make-my-buddypress-widgets-only-show-on-specific-pages/
You can add them in a specific sidebar and then can call them on your specific pages only.
There is a plugin also named Restrict Widgets that lets you choose on which page you want to show widgets.
Thanks
In reply to: Profile fieldsPlease check this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-xprofile-custom-field-types/.
They are already adding profile fields with select2 js support, mentioned in the features as well.
Thanks
In reply to: Add Friend button with ajaxIt’s because the js code is written to work with buddypress pages. Still you can take references from here https://stackoverflow.com/questions/14491524/adding-add-friend-button-anywhere-in-the-buddypress-site
And see if this of any help or not. Thanks
Great to hear that it helped you.
In reply to: Welcome Form on WP PageI have copied the edit.php and change-avatar.php into a PHP snippet plugin and these both display on the page fineโฆ however, they do not work!
You have to override them in your child theme, then only it will work. Please check https://codex.buddypress.org/themes/theme-compatibility-1-7/a-quick-look-at-1-7-theme-compatibility/
Thanks
In reply to: how to remove component from bp notifications?Hi,
Please paste following code in bp-custom.php or in your child theme’s functions.php:
remove_filter( 'bp_notifications_get_notifications_for_user', 'ai_bp_reaction_custom_format_buddypress_notifications');Hopefully, this will work for you.
Thanks
This is for forum subscribers https://github.com/buddydev/bbp-bp-notify-new-topic
But if you know how to edit the code then it will do the trick for you.
Thanks
