  • Well it’s really simple to set up actually but if you’re trying to pull code from it, that’s a different story. I’m not sure how to put the log-in forms IN your theme without that plug-in (or Gravity Forms). You could just style the log-in page to match?

    See here: http://www.problogdesign.com/wordpress/custom-wordpress-login-screen/

If you’re just looking for a simplier plug-in then just do a plug-in search for “custom login” and you’ll find a bunch!

Have you tried Theme My Login?

I’d try uninstalling / deleting all files for Achievements / re-installing. I had this issue first, and this fixed it. Now I have other issues with the plug-in that hopefully the next update will fix -fingers crossed-

May I recomend ThemeKraft’s Custom Community? It gives a nice starting point but for full customization some serious CSS skills are needed.

I’m no way affiliated, I just use it on my one BP site ’cause hacking hand made themes never works out for me…

Under “Personal” – “Forum Topics” & “Forum Replies” I’ve always got:
`Sorry, there was no activity found. Please try a different filter.`

My “Mentions” work, but no one ever seems to reply to me with a mention.
& “Groups” displays all topics for the group’s forums I’m a part of.

    This should be a plug-in idea ; )

There’s a plugin called “dashboard tweaks” that’s get rid of that menu, and the WP logo.

@LavishDhand You have to join group first ; )

I know it’s a feature, but my current admin doesn’t have buddypress support… Wouldn’t that be a topic here?

    (I’m using 3.3)

Example (sorry for bump, I just wanted to be clearer)

When you highlight the link for “Profile > Edit” it shows like this:
    http: sitename.com/members/User%20Name/profile/edit/

but when you click the link browsers load:
    http: sitename.com/members/UserName/profile/edit/

That doesn’t seem to be working…

If it helps at all, when you go to click on the link the url correctly inputs the %20 where it needs to be, but the browser loads without it. (all browsers)

I was hoping to not do this. This would break my Social Connect and in my opinion makes usernames unfriendly

Ok, this is actually a problem with the space in my user name. I’ll start a new topic.

Thank you for your time though, I really appreciate it : )

But it’s doing it on both themes? Woudln’t that be Buddypress?

    WordPress 3.2.1
    Buddypress 1.5.1

And the file is there. I get a page not found on the BP default theme, and the Custom Community theme I am using.

Try clearing your cache and browser cache. i had this problem but it actually was working the whole time. Just didn’t see it until I used firefox instead of IE

Mine’s like this too and my slug is set to “members”

I’ve posted 5 articles about it but can’t find them. if anyone finds a solution to this please e-mail me at robpachasa@gmail.com

I’m so fed up with buddypress. Can’t even set up this “award winning plugin” = fail.

    I have this problem too! I posted a topic but now I can’t find it : (

    This support forum is terrible!
