You can visit and navigate public groups; you can’t access private groups without becoming a member.

isn’t that the same way private groups already behave?

@mercime i couldn’t find one of those files in 1.6.2 maybe does that fix rely on having file structure from 1.7?

not entirely sure what you are saying but it sounds like something that s2 member might be able to help you with.
