In reply to: I want to delete Activity Page.
I wonder if setting the page to private and removing the links to it would be the best way to go. If you delete it you will end up with an error in the back end saying the BuddyPress component needs a page linked to it.
You should raise this on the BP Group Email subscription forum.
In reply to: Insert search function on sidebar icon buddypressFor Members Search there is a plugin called BP Profile Search, this comes witha widget that you can insert in your sidebar. Would that help?
BuddyPress does not come with this as a feature, so BP would not have the code to check for required fields and enforce them in the group. How did you create the fields?
In reply to: Register form accordianOne way to change the registration process is to use BP Better Registration. This splits the registration for over several pages.
In reply to: Register form accordianAh that is to create an accordion on the members profile page, not the registration page.
In reply to: Register form accordianThinking about it, this file has nothing to do with registration that I know of, what does the article say you should do with it?
In reply to: Register form accordianSounds like its located in plugins/buddypress/bp-templates/bp-legacy/buddypress/members/single/profile.
This is not a file you can edit directly as it would be over-written with any plugin updates.
Instead you will need to perform a template overload:

I can replicate your issue, yet I use the same line in my own plugins without error. The only difference is that I look for bp from within a function and I’m thinking this may be the issue, basically wp thinks bp is not active when you are in the plugins page.
Try wrapping your query in a function tied into your buddypress task.
I don’t see a problem with it, are you sure BP is activated?
In reply to: change the age limitBuddyPress does not implement a minimum age, would this be a feature of your theme?
I think the first thing I would try would be to disable the plugin that is creating the member types and see if that works. You can do that by accessing your wordpress file structure using FTP and then changing the name of the member type plugin directory.
In reply to: Set textfield max charactersYou could put it in here:
In reply to: Group user list doesn’t work correctlyYes that works! Thanks a lot.
In reply to: Group user list doesn’t work correctlySorry, found it, I’ll give it a try, it’s definitely been a long one lol.
In reply to: Group user list doesn’t work correctlyHi there, I may be and probably am being a little bit thick, it’s been a long day. But I’m struggling to make sense of the advice on that page.
It says changing
group_members to members in bp_legacy_theme_object_template_loader() fixed the issue for me.but the function bp_legacy_object_template_loader part that he displayed did not include group_members, so I’m confused as to what I should change where.Good to know there’s a fix though. That will be the third today!
In reply to: Incompatibility with PHP 7Those look like bbPress files, not BuddyPress as such.
In reply to: Group user list doesn’t work correctlyUnfortunately on my system I unloaded all plugins and switched to 2017 theme and this behaviour persisted. Yet on another system it works. I’m not sure how to further debug the issue as I’m unable to recreate it on a test system.
I’m using very few of the plugins you listed – Invite Anyone, CPT UI and BP Global Search.
For point two there is a plugin called Recently registered which allows you to sort the user list be date registered. You could use this to show the oldest members then select and delete them using the bulk actions.
In reply to: Activity Stream not showing everythingThese activities do show up in the activity feed, only they are displayed under the original item, which if it’s quite old means the new comment will be shown several pages deep on a busy site.
One option I guess is to register another activity action for post comments and activity replies which creates a top level update to the activity feed, which would always show as a new activity item and therefore be displayed at the top of the activity feed.
In reply to: Group user list doesn’t work correctlyI’ve just tried this on one of my sites and I get the same issue. So either we have the same plugin and it’s causing a problem or it’s a bug.
What plugins do you have loaded?
In reply to: list of all functionshave you looked at http://hookr.io/plugins/buddypress/#index=a
In reply to: Not able to activate userSo you have a conflict, just reactivate the plugins one by one till you find the problem.
In reply to: Disable hidden groups completely
