@elagoon WP SMTP is not updated from last 4 year, try a different plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/
They have inbuilt option to change from email address, you can set it without any additional codes

@sugar7 you need to delete or deactivate any site-wide notice after login as the site.
It will remove default notices for new users as well.

@eforreal79 You can check for BuddyPress Moderation Pro It will help to moderate content with help of community members. They can report activities and reported activated will automatically remove from activity stream after a certain number of reports.

For chance, you can just resave the permalinks settings in your backend.

By editing the php.ini file you can solve this problem …

max_execution_time = 60     ; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds
max_input_time = 120    ; Maximum amount of time each script may spend parsing request data
max_input_nesting_level = 64 ; Maximum input variable nesting level
memory_limit = 512M      ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (128MB)

– Try MANUALLY re-updating. Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory. You may need to delete the old wp-admin and wp-includes folders and files on your server before uploading the new ones. Please read the Manual Updatedirections first.

– Backup: If you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong. You can never have enough backups!

Template :- buddypress\bp-themes\bp-default\groups\single\group-header.php
