Achievements throwing error on BP 1.1

    Hopefully it’s not just for me, but the excellent Achievements plugin is throwing this error

    Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, '' was given in /home/.unger/wonderchicken/jobsee.kr/community/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 414

    for me, but only when I hit the summary page, and it only seems to happen when getting there from the Notifications part of the admin bar. If I go there from the My Account—>Achievements–>Summary, no error is thrown.

    BP1.1, WPMU 2.8.4, Achievements 1.1, fresh install.

    The current released version isn’t supported in BP 1.1, alas. Earliest I might be able to get a new release out is this weekend, sorry.

    No sweat, and thanks. It works perfectly fine so far, actually, bar that minor bug.

    Just a bump to hassle you, DJPaul….wondering if you’re still planning a 1.1.1 compatible version (I really like Achievements!)

    Hi,

    Achievements is an amazing plugin. It forms the core of our site. We allow member upgrades based solely on their achievements.

    However, I too get the same error (warning only thrown on the ‘Summary’ page)

    Using WPMU 2.8.4, BP 1.1.2, Achievements 1.1

    Any word on the new version? Or some quick fix that we could try perhaps?

    Thanks,

    Sib

    Er, *whoops*.

    My excuse is I have about 4 new plugins at various stages of development and I like to flick between then. Achievements hasn’t had any focus in about a month.

    Give me this weekend, and I’ll get a new version out!

    Ah, thanks DJPaul!

    Eagerly awaiting the updated version.

    Another bug report on BP 1.1.2 for Achievements (non-fatal, I think). When inviting new members to an existing group, after selecting the checkbox beside the username and the ajax-indicator finishes spinning, this error appears inline above the new user/avatar in the invites list:

    ‘Warning: Missing argument 2 for dpa_handle_groupinvitation() in /home/.unger/wonderchicken/jobsee.kr/community/wp-content/plugins/achievements/dp-achievements/dp-achievements-defaultachievements.php on line 187’

    Hope that helps — and thanks again! I really want to keep Achievements, and my site’s just starting to ramp up…

    Great looking plugin. Anything that can help people become more active is awesome. I can’t wait to see the new version!

    Just a quick bump to see how things are progressing (if at all)! (No pressure, just crossed fingers…)

    need help to support these, DJPaul ?!… i’m available… and i will provide a translation in the next days for french language too… would be good if you provide a .pot … thanks!

    Also really appreciate the plugin, and would recommend it as an excellent device to keeping people interested on your site.

    But… also getting the same error, and have my fingers crossed for a solution.

    In the meantime, I’m wondering if there’s a way to turn off warning messages…hmmm.

    I’m Looking for someone to contribute some quality art for achievement icons whilst I think of it

    @nexia

    for icons, i would suggest you to look at Pinvoke! http://www.pinvoke.com/ … Yusuke is always open for some advertising… :)

    Any news on this call_user_func_array() issue?

    @stwc

    I’d rather have a new version of the plugin without icon art now than one with later, for what it’s worth! ;-)

    I’m discovering a couple missing things from the current version of BP that were in previous versions of BP. I’m filing these as bugs. Might have to put a note in the readme saying that a couple of achievements won’t work until BP 1.2(?).

    EDIT: also https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/1400

    Achievements 1.2 should be appearing on the interwebs shortly, unless I”ve managed to clog those pesky tubes again.

    The new achievements moved the admin menu link into the BuddyPress group but now I can’t find the retro-activate function anymore. Is that gone?

    It’s important when the site uses Gigya’s login as accounts created that way are not (or were not in previous releases) registered by the Achievements plugin until after running the retro-activate manually.

    @djpaul

    I’ll add a distinct button back in the next version. In the interim just Edit an achievembt and press Save, this will trigger the check.

    Editing achievements and saving results in

    “There was an error updating the database; please try again.”

    No retro-activation done after that.
