When logged out and viewing a member’s profile, the “send invites” option is visible on their profile. Shouldn’t it only be for logged in users and users can only send invites from their own profile?
@hbndev – I’m interested in the code that you have used. Mind to share it?
One problem I noticed
On the invite email that gets sent out this is the link, http://yourbpsite.com/register/accept-invitation/test%40test.com
I’m now using a different register page to prevent spam. If I change $accept_link in invite-anyone/invite-anyone/by-email.php to reflect my register page, will it break the plugin?
Installed from the repo and the table is created now. It also show’s the “invites” that were sent so you were right about the table. I will try to test it thorough tonight and let you know on any other bugs/glitches. One question: Is this for WPMU or single WP?
This table doesn’t exist “wp_bp_invite_anyone”
Get this error when clicking on the “send invites” main heading
Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ‘bp_example_screen_one’ was given in…
I’ve sent invites to 4 people and it sends out the invite but it doesn’t show after you have sent the invites to whom you have sent it to. It shows the heading “You have sent invitations to the following people.” and the headings but doesn’t show anyone.
Activated the plugin but the subnav items to “send invites” does not show.
* I downloaded the wrong version (displays now)
Wrong link
Thanks for the update MrMaz. I’m looking forward to the 0.4 release
Same problem here but I reverted back to the previous version 1.0.2.1 https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/facestreamownload/
That version doesn’t sync from FB to BP but at least you can submit statuses to FB from BP
looking forward to it. Thanks for your great plugins Peter!
My mistake. It works! I didn’t see the ajax drop down
Thanks for your help!
Thanks for the screenshot @etivit (rich!) but I can’t get it to work
I have added <?php do_action( ‘bp_forum_extras_after_post_content_li’ ) ?> to groups/single/forum/topic.php but it still doesn’t display as your screenshots.
Thanks @etivit (rich!)
I’m a bit confused how this is supposed to work. I’ve downloaded the extras plugins and activated the extras + the activity plugin.
How will it pull the comments made on topic post? Will it be on the forum itself? Does it only pull the comments made on the replies of the main topic and not sub replies? Will it only work for future comments and not for the ones already made on the “main topic”
I still can’t get the filter to show link votes on viewing a single link. If “Show link votes” is selected from the drop down, this is displayed “Sorry, there was no activity found. Please try a different filter.”
I have tested this on the latest version single wp site and on a wpmu site and the results are the same.
Sounds like a good plan @stwc
Thanks for creating a ticket for it.
Thanks Peter. The latest updated seems to have fixed the syncing from FB to BP using a filter.
I’m experiencing the same problem.
Thanks for the great plugin. Running the latest version I cant post from FB to BP using a filter.
Thanks for the help
The activity feed on both a single WP bp and a WPMU installation – http://socialpress.co.za/activity/feed/
Facestream and Tweetstream doesn’t work together. When I create an update and both are ticked (to facebook and to twitter) only the Facebook update is sent and not the Twitter one. When facestream is active and only “to twitter” is checked, it doesn’t sync to Twitter.
Works.
Thanks Peter. I will add the # tag before the filter in the admin menu and check if it imports then.
