In reply to: Layout problem/question with Buddypress Theme Pack
Everything is explained on step three of the setup process.
In reply to: User Blogs gone! What do I do nowI’ve worked out the problem thanks to Michael. If a blog has an empty description line then the query will not return it. I can fix this really easily, so I’ll that’ll be in 1.2.1.
In reply to: User Blogs gone! What do I do nowYour second issue is fixed in the 1.2 branch. Let’s keep this on topic.
In reply to: User Blogs gone! What do I do now@Michael Berra – did you log in as this user and confirm they cannot see the blog? Also – don’t use the trunk, use the 1.2 branch:
In reply to: Deep integration of Google DocsCertainly would make an excellent plugin. Perhaps even to begin with just allowing google documents to somehow be tracked in the activity stream and linked to groups. Start small.
In reply to: User Blogs gone! What do I do nowI’ve fixed a number of issues related to registering blogs in different scenarios, so the best way to put this to bed is for you guys to please test it.
In reply to: User Blogs gone! What do I do nowIn reply to: User Blogs gone! What do I do nowI believe all these problems relate to when a user is *added* to a blog with higher than subscriber privileges. BuddyPress wasn’t recording this action correctly. I’ve fixed this in the 1.2 branch. Please give that version a go and see if that fixes your issues. Remember to de-activate/activate BP to refresh your user blogs table.
In reply to: Show favourite count after each activity? In 1.2.1 I’ve added the missing “bp_activity_remove_user_favorite” and “bp_activity_add_user_favorite” actions that you can hook into. It’ll be out in the next day or two.
In reply to: Upgrading from regular WP to BuddyPressThat link on wpmu.org contains out of date info, so please just use the plugin.
In reply to: Nothing appearing under “My Blogs”Can anyone experiencing this problem deactivate BuddyPress, get a copy of the 1.2 branch from SVN then reactivate and see if the problem is fixed?
Thanks
In reply to: After update private & hidden Groups emptyAre you running the backwards compatibility plugin?
Don’t do that, create a new child theme and override the default css by adding the above into your child themes style.css. Otherwise you will lose the changes on upgrade.

In reply to: Custom TypesYou should be able to create custom member types within WordPress. Define custom roles, there are lots of docs on doing this.
In reply to: Info about the used action \”wp\”This might change at some point, we actually don’t want the post data on most pages.
In reply to: Hiding private blog activity from activity streamIf the blog is set to private (not visible to search engines) then it won’t show in activity streams.
Someone with jQuery skills and WP AJAX knowledge should be able to whip this up in no time.
In reply to: User Blogs gone! What do I do nowI’ll see if I can reproduce this, if anyone can work out steps to reproduce that would be handy.
In reply to: User Blogs gone! What do I do now@disbas – Can you confirm that the blog in question is public or private?
In reply to: User Blogs gone! What do I do nowIf the blogs are not set to be public (visible to search engines) then they will not appear anywhere unless you directly visit the blog.
Are you saying that if you directly visit the blog URL, you can’t access it?
In reply to: Missing Content Within WebsiteInstall the backwards compatibility plugin, also, read the upgrade instructions.

In reply to: How to return to BuddyPress 1.1.3Install the backwards compatibility plugin and your theme should work.
In reply to: oEmbed for BuddyPress plugin – out now!Doesn’t seem to do anything on my test installs either.
In reply to: Blogs can’t be created once BP is installedThis has been fixed in the latest branch code and will be in 1.2.1 very soon.
In reply to: [BP1.2] External Group Blogs pluginI need to fix this plugin. In 1.2 instead of a pointless extra tab – you now get a new entry in the drop down filter. The old tab in 1.1 was basically a duplication of the activity stream with a filter.
