Not sure exactly what you meant to convey by your reply but your wrong in thinking a single BP/WP site has tens of millions of users are using this platform simultaneously even on wordpress.org I am not talking how many members there are I a am talking about how many people can actively be on a site at the same time before it bottlenecks.

@bphelp wp com and wp org already has “tens of millions of people flocking”. Only problem is they are reluctant to add BP as a social layer. Google did it with G+. But somehow wp thinks it as a stigma so BP is not added to it.

Setup WP 4.1.1 + BP 2.2.1 – multisite, fresh install, nothing else
Setting : Before a comment appears Comment must be manually approved
Comment as an user on another user’s blog
Comment shows “awaiting moderation”

In version 1.0.2, I’ve addressed the problem of the mystery-man displaying for existing users when the plugin is first activated. There’s now no need to wait until their next login to get their identicon. Identicons are available for display for everyone when needed.

If [Anyone Can Register] is checked then they are created on the fly without all the duplicates that can cause 404 issues for beginners that are not sure how to resolve the page associations.
