works great, it replaces the name “with whatever i want here” now…. how do i get it to display the members name, and also create a link to the URL the user enters in for “website”, which is currently question 3 in the profile info i played around with it, but just kept breaking things! thanks Thanks! I’ll give it a go and let you know how it works! anyone? thats it thanks! i knew it was something simple older versions of BP used to show members, groups and blogs on the home theme didn’t it? i attempted deep integration – it is easy once u do it a few times do a google search and you will find a few guides on it i want to attempt the same for a bpmember theme someone should log a ticket for this, it worked in the previous version fine. Go to WPMU Dashboard > blogs > select blog (normally noumber 1) > edit > find “blog upload space” and change the setting have you tried upload the entire home theme again? looks like a css error to me Do it through your WPMU dashboard Settings > General do you want something like http://explorewithme.com/forums/ ? If so let me know and I can help… You can add the members, groups, site wide activity and a few other widgets from your dashboard. You might have to adjust your css to make it look good though. I run Askimet with BP without any issues Better to ask the forums at http://en.forums.wordpress.com/ @andypeatling – from your comment I get the feeling you’ll be expanding upon this plugin for the next release of BP? It would make sense to use the core of this plugin and build on it rather than start from scratch? Just my 2 cents worth… I helped someone with this issue last week – it was a plugin that was causing the issue. deactivate all your plugins and try again, then activate them one by one to find the culprit Simple update? If it is so simple then you code it I don’t mean to be rude – but this is a free plugin for the freely available WPMU – so I don’t think you can really complain. yeah that works, however i noticed that it distorts the FB pic in the BP member theme. It streches it from 50 x 50 to 150 x 150 PollDaddy works with MU in my experience Why don’t you create widgetized areas within your theme? That is probably easier and you will have more control over the widgets. Look here for more info on create widget ready themes https://codex.wordpress.org/Widgetizing_Themes Or is that the part that you tried and didn’t work? try registering for a username at wordpress.com and then try to login through the bbpress site You can access the tags at yourdomain.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php As far as I know the tags are just a filter and the output is populated on the index.php page. yes have a look on this site developers > plugins i also get a lot of errros – it messes up the ajax within the wpmu dashboard menu’s – post/page form is all messed up, something happens with the css for that page are you using the existing wpmu database or creating a new one for the forums? sounds like it has a problem connecting to the database, make sure all the settings are correct, also make sure the forum dir is chmod 777 so it can create the bb-config file. turn it off in your WPMU admin > buddypress > general settings
