Yes, that’s a basic syntax error. £10 you’ve been editing a file.
In reply to: Welcome Pack update request@Enlightenmental1 Once you have BP RC2 working *properly*, let me know and i’ll send you the link
In reply to: Welcome Pack update requestNo, Social, that’s a new feature.
@BeLogical – also what version of php are you running, 4 or 5?
In reply to: Welcome Pack update requestWhat version of bp and wpmu are you testing this with?
In reply to: buddypress.org error – send mailI agree. I’ve seen this locally and also on this very website.
In reply to: BuddyPress For WordPress (Not MU) ComingStandard WP support won’t be coming until a release after v1.
In reply to: Welcome Pack update requestThanks all. I’m waiting to here back from BeLogical that it works. If it works without errors, I’ll release the new version.
@Hyrxx: no, changing the account registration form to implement referrals or investigation of the data provided is beyond the scope of Welcome Pack. Sorry.
Well, it’s obviously down to each individual theme. In the nicest way possible, I doubt you are going to get anyone here going in to tell you what HTML changes you need to make to each theme to get it to work the way you want. Suggest talking to each theme’s author.
At the moment, you can’t rearrange the profile fields. This is something that will come in future versions of BuddyPress.
Suppose you could dig inside the database but I don’t know offhand how it sorts them.
In reply to: Admin bar error in My AccountsHi
What versions of WPMU and BP are you using? How did you install them – upgrade or fresh install? And are you using a custom theme – if you are, does it work if you revert to the standard BP theme (to test)?
In reply to: Feature/plugin request – RSS to Group WireHey,
That’s a good idea. Not sure if this would be better as a 3rd party addon or as a enhancement suggestion for future versions of BP.
In reply to: Moderate groupsHi
Best place for this feature suggestion would be to put it as an ‘enhancement’ suggestion https://trac.buddypress.org/newticket – you can log in to that site using the same username and password you do for here. Thanks!
You need to search for WPMU addons that would provide this. BP doesn’t provide the user registration routines.
In reply to: Welcome Pack update requestThanks dude i’ll mail you
In reply to: Welcome Pack update requestHello all
If you use Welcome Pack, I have a version I need testing. There’s something I need confirmed on another server that works, so if you are willing to test (e.g. make one new user account and check it works) please let me know. I’ll then release the new version that works on BP RC2/v1.
Of course you need to be running WPMU 2.7.1 and BP RC2.
Regards
DJPaul
In reply to: Site Admin -> BuddyPress missing in RC2Can you mark this topic as resolved please?
In reply to: custom slug via bp-custom makes menu icons disappearHAs this been put on the Trac as a bug? I had a quick look but I couldn’t see it, so if you could write it up Socialpreneur that would be good thanks.
In reply to: BuddyPress Skeleton Component v1.2 RC-2Thanks Jeff

In reply to: RC2 Theme Headacheyeah, it’s bug https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/691 if anyone has anything to contribute
In reply to: Import Users From WordPressThis could mean several things. You have an existing WP site and want to get those users into WPMU.
Or you have an existing WPMU site, but when you go the ‘members’ list pages on BuddyPress, most of them don’t appear.
I can’t help you with the first one as I don’t know and that question is more appropiate to the WPMU forums (not BuddyPress’). If it’s the second, the users won’t show up until they’ve logged in and done something. There was a script or so around the forums to get this done automatically, but I don’t know where I saw it. Hopefully someone will post.
In reply to: wpmu-signup-captcha in BP RC-2That’s not answer to his/her question Nicola, that’s advertising
In reply to: wpmu-signup-captcha in BP RC-2Talk to the developer of that plugin and ask when they will update it to work with the new /plugins/ folder in WPMU 2.7.1.
By “wire on the home page”, do you mean the Site Wide Activity widget? That certainly *won’t* update, as the HTML for that element is cached (i.e. written once when the activity generated, and saved then).
In reply to: Error message on BP-FB connectyou can call it whatever you want, as long as the file ends in .php. Then just view that file on your website. e.g. say you call it test.php, view it on http://yoursite.com/test/php.
