Nice ! Thanks !
Hey, now I realize it was me who made the question regarding ID WPMU compatability !
Glad it helped someone.
@PeterV maybe if U make your question at ID´s website/blog you can find answer to your problem.
@Korhan thanks for the warning. At the beginning I won´t have any member blogs, just the “main” one. My project will start with the latest news about the football team I support (like Feherbace !) and then evolve to a fan community with forum.
That´s why it Facebook login will prove very useful
Regarding ID, I don´t think I will implement it until they provide front-end translation, which is in their roadmap but with no ETA yet.
@r-a-y thanx again
Thanks Ray, this is excellent feedback.
I am plannig in installing Intensedebate for comments, can it play well with BP ?
Gr8 Paul !
Would U like me to translate it to Spanish ?
@roadblock I totally agree with you, but it seems developers do not think so.
We should be looking for alternatives, gigya seems to be one.
It was implemented at http://outgaylife.com
Gr8 !!!
A custom loop is the most direct way, instead of a widget

@graduatebuddy if you press the “freshness” link which shows at the forums section it will take you directly to the last post (yours).
If you are at the beginning of this thread or at any page, just go to the top part where it shows how many msgs and voices and next to it shows the links to the latest reply and who made it (yours in my case)
Well Oliver, you´d better setup a reminder because it is pretty likely there won´t be any updates of FB-connect PI unless some other developer continues with it.
Any himself (who originally adapted it) made very clear that it is not one of his priorities, and we must respect that as he is the only person 100% devoted to Buddypress.
Is this the same reason forum posts do not appear on my site-wide activity stream/widget ?
Or my problem is a totally different issue ? Using 2.8.1, 1.0.3 and 1.0
Nope, Im afraid there´s not a newer version.
1.1 was coded by Andy himself, and there are no signs that it is going to be updated. He has made clear many times that its up to Buddypress community to continue with the update of Facebook connect plugin.
If I had coding skills, I would have updated it a long time ago, but I am still busy understanding how BP works ! ;-(
Very nice, congratulations !
What about integrating bbPress stats ? For those who have bbP setups might come handy.
Peter, Andy is only part of Autommatic I think.
And Sam Bauers who develops bbPress.
The rest of the moderators I think do not belong to Autommatic
+1
My 2 cents:
- Awards/points assigned to each action should be customizable
- “Degrees” or “qualifications” too
It used to show at this site but not anymore, maybe it is a WPMU 2.8.1/BP 1.0.3 issue.
Anyways, even though there are many people interested in a working FB connect plugin, nobodys interested in developing it.
Glad U got it fixed !!
To begin with, I would start by following these tutorials:
https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/bp-103-and-bbpress-which-version-plugins-cookies
http://theeasybutton.com/blog/2009/07/17/integrating-buddypress-wordpress-mu-and-bbpress/
BTW, regarding user mapping, the only setting I changed was WP Admin one, mapped to bbPress Key Master. The other four settings remain untouched.
Hey, is BP version 3 out ?
@Massao I think Twit Connect is for comments claiming through twitter ID, and in the link you provided it shows nowhere that it is BP compatible, just a request from a user named gpok with no confirmation from the app creator.
Thanks to Graeme for the tutorial and to Chris for showing us the light…
Hi Mohit, but where can I see the dropdown menu ? I cannot find it at your site.
Hi JJJ,
1) I cannot be 100% sure, as soon as I installed WPMU locally, I continued with the bbP integration, did not stopped to check cookie behaviour.
2 & 3) I am sure I did not go into neither of these two integrations, as I do not know what you are talking about

4) Nope, I never included that define line in my bb-config.php
If you could be clearer about bbPress integration on “bbP side” and “WP side”, I can continue with your suggestions.
TIA
This is the post I meant:

Try using the loops.
https://codex.buddypress.org/developer-docs/custom-buddypress-loops/the-site-members-loop/
Try using the forum search:

Sorry, but I do not know how to implement this, I do not code myself.
There´s also an old post by Burt, will try to find it
