yeah, I am also looking for having the user-registration within the SideBar at the right.
Is there a Plugin to have this as Widget being put into the SideBar ?

this should be a standard-feature at any website after all.
There are 2 Password-Boxes in BP, and I agree there should be also 2 e-mail-boxes so that the user gets his e-mail-address entered correctly.

It would be even more important to have 2 “e-mail-boxes” than 2 Password-boxes at the Sign-up page.
Because the user is anyway able to change his password when he forgets about it.

But having the user entering his e-mail-address wrong (like having a typo), then this user will never return to the website again.

Hope to see this implemented in BP.

for Gmail, their Captcha is very hard to read so I need to fill the Captcha usually 2 or 3 times.
Would not be great if the user-account gets deleted or user is not getting accepted to register if the Captcha has been entered wrong for 3 times.

Any other ideas ?

So what is the point of following someone at buddypress.org ?

is it possible to put those Subnavigation-Tabs (Members, Groups, Forums, etc.) into the BuddyBar at the very top ?
Will this have any implications when being in the Dashboard ?

I do agree on many points made above, I am actually quite afraid of confusing people with my installed website…..

How to get the confusion out of the activity-stream ?
Is there anything I could change immediately in the backend in order to make BP simpler ?

unfortunately, when using this code, then it is also changing the bg-color of the activity-comments.
Is there a way to keep the bg-color of the activity-comments as is ?

Hey Boone,

I have also the Group-Blog-Plugin installed.
When I am at the Group-Blog for a certain Group, then the Tab “Send Invites” is visible when not being logged-in.
Then when clicking on the Tab “Send Invites”, I am being forwarded to the homepage.

The Tab “Send Invites” is actually only visible when being at the Group-Blog, the Tab is not visible when being at the Group-Home or Group-Forum.
Looks quite confusing……

Hey Paul,

I just installed your latest Welcome-Pack-Plugin.
It looks like it is being installed automatically as “Side-Wide”, but not sure if this plugin should be installed Side-Wide or just for my main-Blog.

Is there a difference on how to install it or is it only working when being “Side Wide” ?
