This is not possible. Its a multisite with multiple users having individual blogs. Some may choose to use manual excerpt, some may choose to use <!-- more -->

Yes these are custom elements. The blinking cursor going down in text-area happens due to bp checkins. The problem seems to be each plugin using its own rule/css/whatever when it comes to using this whats-new posting area – apparently codex has no protocol which plugins should adhere to. @hnla that’s even more of a good idea if the site in question has many plugins installed. There’s simply no way of knowing how some plugins will interact with a new version of BP unless they’ve been tested. My advice is, don’t rely on the plugin developer to do it. Instead, set up a test install and do it yourself! Before go live.

From reading that documentation, it looks like the files are named correctly. I’m not sure.

I touched up a BP codex page today without a problem, partly to confirm I still could. @hnla et al., does this mean I’m on the Codex Team? If so then thank you, nice if anyone who had already contributed still can.

Actually @hnla, you’ve inspired me to not use Bootstrap for my next project! Bootstrap has always been the go-to solution for me, but let’s see how I get on without it 🙂

Alternatively to @hnla‘s suggestion, you could utilise something like Bootstrap’s grid system to achieve this.

@hnla you’re right, it could be more robust. I’ve added a conditional check to test if the messages component is active.
