This is a known issue. Check out https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/4571
I see no blank pages so far. Which one are you referring to? This one’s all right http://mejl.cvenk.net/profil/groups/nova-testna-26609/courseware/
Cool. Glad you fixed it
Marking this as resolved. In reply to: Elegant themes compatibility – Lucid@rakshithvbharanigmailcom Open up your theme’s header.php, copy all, paste all at pastebin.com, click submit, and post the generated pastebin.com URI here. Do the same with your theme’s page.php, index.php, sidebar.php and footer.php
In reply to: A Better ‘Members’ section== Can this be done simply? ==
It’s do-able but certainly not simple. As far as I know, that kind of customization is not available in free BP themes around. You’d either have to do it yourself, buy the theme or hire a developer to do so. The way I see it, buying the theme (with prof support) would be much cheaper than hiring a developer to create a theme for you ( at least 3x to 5x more).
In reply to: Avatar Picture Quality Issue“ gives you the 150px x 150px avatar
Pretty much so. Add activity, groups, forums, registration.
Well, I did mention in my previous post that https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-multi-network/ had shared users. I have not used that plugin before so I recommend that you read
– http://wpmututorials.com/news/new-features/multiple-buddypress-social-networks/ and
– https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-multi-network/installation/You’ve created one network when you went multisite. With the plugin above, there’s one instance of BuddyPress per network. Therefore, if you want more BP instances, you have to create a commensurate number of networks with WP Multi Network or Networks+. At this point, I would venture that you should have a dedicated server to service all networks with respective BuddyPress instances.
This is way more advanced and complicated than Brajesh’s plugin where you only need one network (multisite) install and each subsite has a separate BP instance. Therefore I would suggest that you get the premium Networks+ to avail of experienced support which I think you’d need.
In reply to: [Resolved] removing ”create an account” link@loec By default, you don’t get notification of replies from this group forum unless you have been @ mentioned.
== removing ”create an account” link ==
On your original topic post, simplest way is to just delete it from your theme file/s.== I want participants to complete a survey and click a link to the registration page. ==
There is no plugin that I know of that can do this at this time. You’d either have to code it yourself or hire a developer to do so.The manual way is to create a form which includes an email address field and when the answers are acceptable, you’d email the registration page URL to the applicant which could be good for 5 days. That registration URL/slug can be changed after 5 days.
In reply to: Buddypress two times postingClear cache and deactivate cache plugin, change to bp-default theme, then check if issue recurs.
In reply to: cannot edit forum topics or repliesWhere are you hosted? Windows or Unix/Linux server? What theme are you using? What plugins are activated? Have you gone through basic troubleshooting like deactivating other plugins except BP and changing to BP default theme?
In reply to: BuddyPress pages widght and sidebar problems== They are at /gonzo next to normal sidebar and header ==
If so, then something’s wrong with the BP folders/templates transferred to your Gonzo theme folder and that’s why these BP templates are not picking up header-buddypress.php and sidebar-buddypress.php you uploaded to your theme folder in server.
One solution is to get a fresh set of templates. Delete the 6 BP folders transferred to your gonzo theme folder in server – /activity, /blogs, /forums, /members, /groups, /register – then re-run Appearance > BP Compatibility again to make sure that you have clean template files.

In reply to: Buddypress two times postingDisable cache on BP pages/components.
In reply to: avatars broken?@justdanyul It’s been reported. You can try fix in this ticket https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/4571
In reply to: Buddypress layout@zeecc No need to insult the BP generated design. If you don’t like it, just say so.
== So from what i’ve understand it is possible to use the frisco layout to insert into my theme. ==
Frisco theme has it’s own stylesheet where you copy the styles from. Use Firebug, the Firefox add-on to check which styles go with which HTML tag. Or, hire a developer to make the changes for you.You would have to hire a developer to make brajesh’s plugin into a shared user base since separate tables are created for each instance of BP in the multisite installation. Or, you could opt to install http://buddydev.com/plugins/join-blog-widget/ so logged in users can join in other subsites within that multisite installation.
In reply to: Lots of blank pages== – But as the Solostream theme also has the following lines in the middle of the above, I have kept them. Is that correct?: “ ==
@c930586 You don’t need those in the BP component pages, so there’s no reason to add those.
== I made it: `
Groups Directory
` ==
It should be
`<a class="button" href="”>
`
where you keep the link to creating Groups handy. So alternatively, it could be rendered like this:
`<a class="button" href="”>`
up to you

@floridabeautiesinhd didn’t know you had a follow-up question. You will be redirected to the home page if you go to your site’s register page when you’re still logged in. So log out first to check out the register page.
In reply to: Buddypress two times postingYou’d need to provide more information about your installation. It’s either a plugin or theme conflict. Deactivate all other plugins except BuddyPress and change to BP default theme.
In reply to: BuddyPress pages widght and sidebar problems== i just want to fix the forum index problem thats all… ==
The forum index along with the other BP components are affected by the two BP compatibility files we created for this theme. Did you upload the two files to server wp-content/themes/gonzo, same level where you’d still find the sidebar.php and header.php files?
In reply to: BuddyPress pages widght and sidebar problems== BUT i want either sidebar on the right side or none at all. and i still get sidebar under all content ==
You have to follow the instructions in the link I gave above.
– COPY the whole header.php file and Save As header-buddypress.php then ADD the two lines I posted. Save file and upload to server.
– COPY the whole sidebar.php file and Save As sidebar-buddypress.php then ADD the two lines I posted. Save file and upload to server.
I don’t see those markups added in your current BP component pages.
In reply to: Activity stream, entries, contextualizationActually, you can disable commenting of forum posts and blog posts in activity stream. Just go to wp-admin Settings > BuddyPress > Settings – Activity Settings – Blog & Forum Comments –> uncheck Allow activity stream commenting on blog and forum posts
