@cedrix Site url? Cannot help you based on the image alone. If you’re developing locally, you can use the Firefox/Chrome developer tools to help you identify and correct the style.
In reply to: 404 Error for User Profile Pages@jctunstall Have you tried some basic troubleshooting like changing to the Twenty Fourteen theme to check if issue is resolved? Or try deactivating all other plugins except BuddyPress then reactivating plugins one by one to check if there’s a plugin conflict?
In reply to: [Resolved] Page not found error with buddypressCool. Marking this as resolved π
@uncle-jimmy Thank You for posting back about the plugin conflict.
In reply to: Having a bug in my browser title bar…@barniseun Change to one of the WP default themes and check if the issue is resolved. I suspect it’s a theme issue.
@gcmo please create a trac ticket for this, thank you.
@tc33 What theme are you using? Change to the Twenty Fourteen/Thirteen theme and check if issue is resolved. If it is, then it’s your theme.
In reply to: [Resolved] Odd Buddypress Problem with new signups?@godavid33 glad you resolved this on your own and thanks for posting how you resolved the issue. Cheers π
In reply to: [Resolved] Page not found error with buddypress@simonvrolijk When I hover over the Member link in your main menu, I still see the link to members page as http://thesocialeconomy.nl/index.php/members/
Go to Settings > Permalinks and rerun permalinks again by clicking on the Save button. If that doesn’t work in removing that index.php from your link, go to Appearance > Menu and remove the BuddyPress links then click on Save. After that, add back the BuddyPress links
In reply to: 'Change Avatar' Button@adeolu What theme are you using? Is the setting to allow members to upload avatars enabled at https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/configure-components/#settings-buddypress-settings ?
@dwidmayer Have you done some basic troubleshooting like those mentioned in this codex article?
If you did and you still have the same issue, please provide more information about your installation.
@liceocr next time, please create your own topic π
If you installed BuddyPress and “Registration” was enabled in your Settings, then you should have automatically generated Registration and Activation Pages which you can change/rename.
If you installed BP and Registration was not enabled at the time, then you would have to create the Pages yourself. Go to https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/register-and-activation-pages/
@theworldsstage Appearance > Menus features those built-in admin widgets for Pages, Custom Links, and Categories. Add the Categories you want to the Menu https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide
In reply to: [Resolved] Page not found error with buddypress@simonvrolijk BP requires “pretty permalinks” to work, not “almost pretty permalinks” via appending index.php for Windows servers as I checked your Members Directory page at http://thesocialeconomy.nl/index.php/members/
Possible Solutions:
– https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/iis7-web-config/
– or contact webhostIn reply to: [Resolved] Buddypress teams@danielv95 You’re welcome π Marking this topic as resolved.
In reply to: Hide admin activity in BP 2.xIn reply to: [Resolved] Buddypress teamsMy members can join groups, but the problem is that if they click on teams they canβt create them.
Please clarify. Did you create a new BuddyPress teams component or are you referring to your groups as “teams”? If you are referring to your groups as “teams” did you enable group creation for all users in Settings > BuddyPress > Settings ?
@titoesco Activate BuddyPress and configure BP settings activating the Extended Profiles component only. BP is compatible with nearly all WordPress themes.
@frisch11 looks like you resolved the issue on your own congratulations π I see your group avatars just fine.
In reply to: Can't Edit User Profiles – NextGen Gallery Activated@msegroves thanks for posting back with the update. I hope the issue is resolved soon for you and other Nextgen gallery users.
In reply to: [Resolved] Missing BuddyPress Menu Links@tjr3217 You’re welcome. All’s well that ends well π
Marking this as resolved. In reply to: [Resolved] Missing BuddyPress Menu Links@tjr3217 Go to Appearance > Menus and click on the “Screen Options” tab at the upper right hand area of the screen to open up the contextual help panel. Top line of the panel, check BuddyPress to “Show on Screen”.
Strange that the BuddyPress page links didn’t show up under either the “Most Recent” or the “View All” tab of your Pages metabox.
In reply to: Can't Edit User Profiles – NextGen Gallery Activated@msegroves Changed title to add NextGen Gallery so others who are using that plugin might be able to assist you. Please also post at NextGen Gallery’s forums.
In reply to: Ning Import@doodledogcody as of now, there’s only a premium plugin https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/ning-to-buddypress-user-importer/ that does Ning to BP import.
In reply to: [Resolved] Member Landing TabNo problem, marking this as resolved
