@isbul do you mean that you want to hide the date when the group was created? Are you using the bp-default theme or child theme of bp-default?
In reply to: Query statement showed up in Navbar – hideable? It might be a case of a theme that needs to be updated. Change to bp-default theme, clear cache, and check if issue is corrected.
In reply to: bbPress migration to BuddyPress?-bbPress has been a stand-alone forum software for many years and there is still a stand-alone version to date. Not sure how long the stand-alone version will be supported though.
– bbPress the WP plugin came about with JJJ involvement. Stable version rolled out sometime WP 3.2.1 and it has been made compatible with BuddyPress 1.5
– BuddyPress uses internal (fork of the standalone) bbPress as forums for groups since version 1.0 stable and now you can also install bbPress 2.0.2 as the sitewide forums. https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/
– There are plans to migrate the forums for groups to the sitewide forums sometime soon. You’re not likely to lose any forum posts. Always suscribe to backup backup backup database and server files. I would suggest that you set up a test installation ideally with the same server configuration as your current site is in and install WP and bbPress, import database, When you’ve got that going, install BuddyPress. https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/before-installing/

Successful installation of forums for groups would create a bb-config.php file at level where your wp-config.php is located. Double-check that the database information in the bb-config.php file is correct. If not, correct the information and run the forums for groups again. Also check that there are 7 new bbPress tables created in your database, they should be there.
In reply to: Showing Full Comment FormThat’s a single post page with comment form. Do you mean you want the comment form on the index/home page?
In reply to: Add Friend FATAL ERRORWhat theme are you using? Try changing to bp-default theme and see if issue is corrected.
In reply to: Forums Tab and Multisite BloggingWhich forums – the forums for groups or sitewide forums?
Did you enable discussion forums in BuddyPress?https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/configure-buddypress-components/
Have you installed forums properly? https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/
In reply to: bbPress migration to BuddyPress?BuddyPress works with bbPress – same Lead Developer for both, JohnJamesJacoby. You don’t need to migrate anything. What kind of bbPress installation do you have? The stand-alone bbPress or bbPress 2.0+ the plugin? You should migrate stand-alone bbPress to bbPress the plugin first https://bbpress.org/forums/
In reply to: Change Hyperlink anchor text colorDo not make changes in bp-default.css as it would be overwritten when you upgrade BuddyPress.
Build a chlid theme of bp-default theme instead – https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/building-a-buddypress-child-theme/
The latest version of BuddyPress is 1.5.2 not 1.5.3 and yes, you should have WP 3.3 installed.
In reply to: Problems with site wide forumsIn reply to: Site Logo LinkYou can add a link to the logo.
e.g. you have<img src="something.jpg" />
add the link like so:
<a href="" title="Name of Site"><img src="something.jpg" /></a>Your can replace
with e.g.http://yoursite.com/In reply to: [resolved] Group Forum Not WorkingYou’re welcome. Marking this as resolved.
In reply to: Blog Post Pages shows all Widgets here and there.Re-upload single.php file of bp-default theme, clear cache, and see if issue is corrected.

Saw the screenshot. This is not a BuddyPress issue but with your theme. Somethings went awry with the styling when you went three columns. If you change it back to 2 columns, is the issue corrected? You’ll need to contact theme devs to help you out specially as you’re using a premium theme.
You’re welcome and I hope you get that resolved soon.
In reply to: where is membership directory?Yes it does. Suffusion theme had many options built in plus it’s own BP Compatibility plugin. I’ve never used the theme. I suggest you bring the issue over to the Suffusion forums as the theme dev would know what’s going on with your recent upgrade and compatibility with Suffusion theme and their compatibility plugin.
There’s never been any members directory tab is In user’s profile area ever in bp-default theme (BP 1.2 to present) nor in older bp-sn-parent theme (pre-BP 1.2). It would redundant as there is already a link to Members directory in main menu.
In reply to: widesite forum page wont show upSince you only want to install sitewide forums, make sure that there’s no bb-config.php where you installed WP, i.e. same level as your wp-config.php. If you find that there’s a bb-config.php, delete it.
Check in wp-admin menu Plugins > Installed Plugins and see if bbPress is listed and activated there. If you ran “install sitewide forums” and were able to download bbPress via pop-up screen in backend and activate it, then yes, the link in BuddyPress > Forums – Sitewide Forums should be “Uninstall Sitewide Forums”. If you see “install site wide forums” instead, then you were not able to install bbPress in the first place.
In reply to: [RESOLVED] Sidebar not working…In reply to: [resolved] Group Forum Not Working== But do i need to install the site wide bbPress forum in order to make the group forum works? ==
No. I never said that. I just linked to area where there’s a screenshot of the database with 7 forums tables so you could compare yours. Were the 7 bbPress tables for the forums generated in your database? Also, double-check if the database information in your bb-config.php is correct.
In reply to: where is membership directory?== mysite.com/members….but there is no longer a tab or link to it from the profiles ==
What theme were/are you using? There’s something getting lost in translation and we’re speaking in the same language.
In reply to: [resolved] Group Forum Not WorkingCheck two areas:
– server: see if there’s a bb-config.php file at root of your WP install, same level where you find the wp-config.php
– database: check if 7 tables were generated in your database or not. See examples of bbPress tables in either single WP and WP multisite at https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/3/#bp-forums-dbIn reply to: where is membership directory?Know that 99.9% of those who help out in forums are volunteers living in different time zones.
Re link to Members directory, you should be adding that to your custom menu. If that’s not what you meant, please provide link to your site where the issue is.
In reply to: Settings in buddypress menu links are brokenChange to bp-default theme. If issue is corrected, then its the premium theme that in all probability needs to be updated. Also, looks like the theme dev does provide support at TF.
In reply to: [resolved] Group Forum Not WorkingYou might just need to “jog” system up a bit. Go back to the Group > Admin where you enabled forums, and disable forums, and Save. Go to another page then go back to Group > Admin and enable forums and Save.
