The shop has closed and development has stopped for the plugin linked above.
@whitewolf1988 unfortunately, we do not have access to the premium theme nor your site to check if BP JS is enqueued or not, among other things. There are just too many variables to keep guessing what’s wrong with your theme’s compatibility with BP. The best place to to ask is at theme author’s site. If the theme author cannot help you at this time, think what would happen if theme development stops and you’re stuck with the theme and WordPress version it’s compatible with. Know that some premium themes lock you in so much so that if you try to change themes in the future, some content won’t show up anymore.
In reply to: Buddypress User Comments@rimoreno I suggest testing in development site before implementing in live/production site.
In reply to: Converting Buddypress 1.8 to Bootstrap@jtm21 check out how unsal did it this WP theme compatible with BP and built on Bootstrap https://wordpress.org/themes/firmasite

In reply to: No "buddypress" in Theme Options@junithorn Site url is good. I see that you’re still on BP 1.7.2 I’m seeing the old http://…/buddypress//bp-themes/bp-default/_inc/global.js?ver=20110818′ in source code of your site while you should be getting BP 1.7.2’s http://…/buddypress/bp-templates/bp-legacy/js/buddypress.js enqueued in your WordPress theme. Did you hardcode the link to global.js?
In reply to: [Resolved] Theme compatibility issueYou’re welcome. Updated code in site. Marking this as resolved π
In reply to: sidebar disappeared after update 1.7.2=>1.8What theme are you using?
In reply to: [Resolved] Theme compatibility issue@scottwermter Yes the plugin has been removed from the WP plugin repo. Looks like I template-packed Sahifa Theme before. Using just one file, check if you can now take advantage of BP Theme Compatibility with code posted at http://bpsocialnetwork.wordpress.com/2013/07/28/sahifa-theme-themeforest-2/
@whitewolf1988 per your theme’s page at marketplace, flix is compatible with BuddyPress 1.7.x, BuddyPress 1.6.1, BuddyPress 1.6. It probably needs to be upgraded for BP 1.8
closing this topic in favor of same OP’s post at https://buddypress.org/support/topic/no-buddypress-in-theme-options/#post-168946
In reply to: No "buddypress" in Theme Options@junithorn what theme are you using? Non-admins can create groups in basic installation if you allow it in Settings > BuddyPress > Settings.
In reply to: Link issue in activity strem@itpartner yes. you could help by checking if you can view said link using the TWenty Twelve theme.

– What theme are you using?
– Can you see buddypress.css and buddypress.js in source view of your BP site?
– Did you check if BP Theme Compatiblity is working in your Twenty Twelve theme? In reply to: Theme compatibility issueone again the installation is still broken
@robsimm My bad π I posted the link you gave in your first post, not the pastebin.com link to the one I created at http://pastebin.com/gAUN3ZWH which has the HTML structure of the BP Default theme.
Actually I am surprised that the unchanged BP template’s HTML structure per source code you posted earlier worked with your layout in the first place. So if the above doesn’t work, try this one for buddypress.php http://pastebin.com/TvrF53DR
In reply to: Forums (BP and bb)How can I tell if that very last message was sent to me from somebody else or sent by me to somebody else?
@henrywright-1 Per structure of the example link you provided username/messages/view/30/ there are only two members in that thread, you and one other member. If the very last message has the avatar/username of the one other member with text e.g. “Sent July 12, 2013” then that message was sent by that one other member in the thread to you. Otherwise, if you see your avatarusername there at that very last message, then you sent that message to the one other member in that thread.
@henrywright-1 Not quite clear. If you see the message listed there then the message was sent. As to whether the other member received the message, not sure until you test it yourself in your installation. If this is not what you’re referring to, please be more specific π
In reply to: Theme compatibility issue@robsimm the code you posted in pastebin.com shows you didn’t make any changes to the BP template files to make it compatible with your CStar theme. Cool. D
Based on the premise above, create a new file named buddypress.php and post the code found at http://pastebin.com/5uzN2S8a Save file and upload to your theme folder in server.
In reply to: Weird theme integration@hugodisasters
– Change to Twenty Twelve theme and check the BP pages if has at least some styles applied.
– View source code of site to check if the files I mentioned above are in source. If yes to both, then something’s blocking BP from enqueueing BP’s JS and CSS files in your deTube theme. Check theme’s functions.php file if there’s something like add_theme_support(buddypress). If so, remove it.
In reply to: Link issue in activity strem@itpartner what theme are you using? Change to Twenty Twelve, do you see the activity permalink page?
