Alright, that makes sense. Thank you @djpaul .
WP=3.0.4
BP=1.2.7Tried bp-default and didn’t see the error. Any thoughts on where I should look for that in the theme or ways to omit it? Thanks.

The user registration process could be refined. It confuses most users who aren’t Buddypress savvy.
Combining the username/email entry page with the avatar uploading at the bottom would make things a lot easier. That way the following page would simply say to click the confirmation email and login to get started.
One option is to put a few lines of code into your footer.php file:

asks Google not to cache your pages. Hope this helps.CometChat has a pricey plugin at $500 USD that can offer that plus screen sharing. I haven’t heard reviews on it though.
Half credit

Users can create groups with the same name. For example, if I create a group called “Hello” then create another “Hello,” the site will have two “Hello” groups but the slugs will be different.

@mrmaz , Could you please revise the Create a Link page. Categories are smushed together and like Microsoft Notepad when text isn’t wrapped to the page. It makes it difficult for users to add links in an orderly way.
Instead, could each category be on a new line? Thank you.
Works perfectly on the iPhone/iPod. I had to turn off a few plugins so my Android phone could hold its breath.
@modemlooper , Is there an option to have a share on Linkedin button in this plugin?
Ah that’s helpful. Looking at where they are placed in the directories that now makes sense. Thank you very much.
I remember having luck with Wibya.com but I forget if it requires users to login to use the chat. Cometchat.com works with BuddyPress, though it is a bit pricey.
@pcwriter thank you for recommending @boonebgorges ‘ plugin. It’s easy to modify and reduces the amount of o_O reactions from users on my site.
@Bowromir have you tried the theme with most of the popular buddypress plugins to see that the plugin works well with them? I’ve had a few awesome themes that strangely didn’t work well with BP. The video demo seems to show you’re quite comfy with BP so that’s a great sign.
I’m looking forward to this. I hope to have it installed on my site ASAP. Thank you for the suggestion and feedback of the interface.
I’ve tried. It freaks out and doesn’t work on either end. _hope_
Great thread. I’ll bookmark this. I hope someone can offer a solution / tutorial for this too. Thank you.
@Cometchat Your sales/support chatter on cometchat.com was helpful and very confident in his/her questions.
Also, I wanted to commend you for creating a post in the Buddypress site and responding. There are some (not many) plugin/addon authors that don’t keep in touch with users before/after a purchase so it’s a good gesture to be here as a resource.
I hope it gets updated. It made things so much easier for admins and end users.
I’ve grown up Buddypress so I’m not sure how they can claim to have a value proposition.
$XXX + forums that only disclose presales questions or “success stories” = a bit sketchy.Buddypress welcomes Jomsocial refugees and doesn’t charge for a great experience either

Thank you @Timseo, I’ll check those out.
Under development? It looks and feels amazing!! I love the design of the site and the slightly better placed admin bar is extremely easy to read.
Also, while I have you, are there plugins that verify the username or the password strength or are those custom designed? Your site looks wonderful. Keep up the great work @pcwriter.
Nice work. I’ve used that theme in the past too because it’s simple, easy for users to move around, and customizable. It looks great. Keep up the good work.
Ah, wonderful. Thank you very much @govpatel
