This does it for the Groups only, can you please use the code to do it for the member profile page, that is, an Images tab on the member profile. Thanks.

@danbp Thanks a lot for hand-holding. I wonder then why BP is not releasing this as a default theme for BP!

Using Wp 4.1.1, BP 2.2.1 (and comment-attachment)
How can I show comment-attachments ( jpg, gif) as thumbnails in the Activity page.
It seems that image attachments to comments are just not showing in the activity stream although they appear in the individual blogs.

Sorry. River = stream. River refers or means Activity stream commenting.
Setup WP 4.1.1 + BP 2.2.1 – multisite, fresh install, nothing else
Setting : Before a comment appears Comment must be manually approved
Comment as an user on another user’s blog
Comment shows “awaiting moderation”
Coment on that blog from BP activity stream
Comment…[Read more]

At present, members can comment on a blog post which becomes public if posted from river but shows ‘Your comment is awaiting moderation.’ if posted on the blog page itself/

it brought me to my own profile, but displayed the user’s messages.

If you can read an user A’s message from user A’s profile, that may be by design. But if it is from your profile it may be a bug. What are the steps to reproduce and in which version – with these facts you may consider submitting a ticket. Thanks.
