In reply to: How to show buddypress profiles when not logged in
>Currently a user has to be logged into view profiles.
That is not the default behaviour.
You’ll need to adjust whatever code you’ve added that requires them to be logged-in.In reply to: NetForum ProI doubt if you’ll find somebody on these forums who knows if BuddyPress works with NetForum Pro.
>Can we limit what groups they are part of?
Probably, but you’ll need good knowledge of how BP Groups work in order to write the custom code required. In reply to: Any location based possibilites?First, assuming you don’t mean real-time locations, members have to enter their location. For that you can use this plugin: BP xProfile Location.
Then you need to write a script that does a radial search for other members. Often this is done using zip codes. It can also be done with lat / lng.
Then you need to filter the feed to include only those members.
I’m not aware of any plugins that provide that package.
But if you are a developer, there are lots of resources for each step and you should be able to cobble something together. In reply to: Forum went blank. How to fix this? You should try using the bbPress support forums.

If so, then your install is probably only allowing access from specific IP addresses. In reply to: User cannot access dashboardIs ‘she’ an administrator?
If not, you probably have some code in your install that prevents her role from accessing wp-admin.In reply to: Function for returning profile dataThe
echowon’t work – it calls the xprofile function before it is available.
You need to googleadd_actionand learn what it does.In reply to: Function for returning profile dataIt works with the
add_actionbecause BP is ready then – iow. the functionxprofile_get_field_datais available. In your other examples, BP has not yet loaded, so the function is not available.

In reply to: get member type brokenbp_displayed_user_id()only works in certain contexts – like viewing a member profile. In other situations, you have to get the member_id differently, perhaps
get_current_user_id()which is a WP function. In reply to: Delete Activity StreamFor busy sites, removing old entries can increase performance.
Have you tried BP Bulk Delete ?
