In reply to: 1.0.1 upgrade breaks HTML in welcome text block
what’s ur link?
HTML filters are normally managed by KSES not buddypress, but maybe there’s a new function that filters HTML.
In reply to: .css problems with blockquoteYou’d better post this wpmu than here as this isn’t actually related to buddypress.
n/w, I think you’re missing clear after the image or the after the first paragraph.
‘<div style=”clear:both;”></div>’
Kunal, only removing blog posts from the activity will require some php hacks on the respective files. But I haven’t done that.
bp member theme works little differently from wordpress themes. I think you should open another thread under feature request category, letting developers know you want/hope this feature.
In reply to: Blog pagination not work with postname permalink? That’s nice Andy, but I think RSS still remains the same. no?
simple answer… there’s not such function available.
In reply to: Wizard like RegistrationI like this idea, please create a ticket on this.
In reply to: Buddpress Theme Like Buddypress.orgIf you want it, at least something similar, there’re job groups here and bp demo site. BuddyDress also makes themes for buddypress. FYI.
In reply to: bp-photo what a GREAT plugin!wonderful!!! should be listed on the plugin directory.
In reply to: CSS-Editingjust like you did it with your logo, simply modify css classes for navigation.
Using dev toolbar on firefox helps you find css functions. I highly recommend this.
In reply to: The group box is to small for the info textDid you touch/modify the theme?
In reply to: How to change default stringsplease search the forum before posting the same questions posted before. And make sure you read documents.
https://codex.buddypress.org/how-to-guides/customizing-labels-messages-and-urls/
You really need to read documents and learn basics of wpmu before using buddypress. Otherwise buddypress forum gets messed up with general wpmu topics, which are not supposed to be posted here.
n/w, Site Admin > Blogs > there you’ll have to set the main blog to access that theme.
In reply to: Blog DirectoryIn what way it doesn’t work? give more detail.
In reply to: links not using subdomainsThis is not a problem at all. BuddyPress is defined to work like that.
You are misunderstanding of differences between wpmu and buddypress.
In reply to: Blog Registration is disabled? In reply to: Links in the profile text areasSearch this forum again, there’s one plugin so users can define wich words to be hyperlinked. And another one where Burt suggested bp-custom hack.
In reply to: I need to change the slugsAre you trying to change the bp slugs? (as described in documents)
Or are you trying to change slugs of wpmu? If this is the case, you shouldn’t post your question here. But post your question on wpmu forum.
In reply to: Ignore UserIn reply to: Blog Registration is disabled?go to wp-admin, there’re options there.
You need to understand more about wpmu before using buddypress. If you face these kind of problems or questions, do not post here as they are not buddypress questions.
In reply to: Ignore UserThis kind of function, to block user is a MUST HAVE feature. I think this kind of feature was on the list of next releases, have you voted from the buddypress blog?
In reply to: Upgrading from single WP to MU and BuddypressFirst, make a test install of wpmu and buddypress. Then import your wordpress xml to the test wpmu install and see how it works (it normally works fine).
If you are satisfied with the results, then go for it.
In reply to: minimum length for blog / user nameSuch functions are from wpmu and not from buddypress. If you head over to wpmu forum, the documents, you’ll probably find the answer.
In reply to: mybb forumbp offers integration options for bbpress only. If there’s no wp plugin for mybb, then you should probably create (or pay to create) or wait for someone else comes up with the plugin.
