In reply to: Add featured members into list
Have you thought about acting BuddyDev if they can add this as a feature? I forked this and created BP Featured Groups, and as part of this I added a function to display the featured groups in a banner on the first page of the group list, which is similar to what you are looking for.

In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)The thing is, having access to your site won’t help very much, I’d need FTP access to set up error logging and inspect your files for any additional code that may be affecting things, that all takes time to setup, time I’ve not got.
In reply to: [Resolved] URL not clickableNext thing to try is to delete that profile field and add a new one.
In reply to: [Resolved] URL not clickableWhat about with a different link, does that work in the same field?
In reply to: [Resolved] URL not clickableYes that URL is not formed correctly, have you tried re-entering it?
In reply to: [Resolved] URL not clickablehave you got a link to a profile page with the fb link set?
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)I think the next step is to turn on error logging and see if there’s any errors displayed.
See https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG
Also you can install an error log viewer plugin to allow easy viewing.
Then try to register again and see if any errors popped up at the same time.
In reply to: [Resolved] URL not clickableYou need to inspect the element and see if it’s been malformed
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)I’d still deactivate all of your plgins and see if vanilla BuddyPress works
In reply to: [Resolved] URL not clickableHi Anders, I’ve got a facebook address in a url Profile Field, clicking on it takes you to the fb page.
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)Hmm maybe not, I just tried the same password that worked before and it failed.
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)No, when I tried with your details and a none gmail address it failed and the password fields were highlighted. I think it’s something to do with passwords on your site. The exact same details work on my site.
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)Just tested in Chrome, it still worked
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)The last test I used Opera
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)So it’s looking like this is not BuddyPress but rather something else that is rejecting the passwords that are too simple.
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)I tried the same details on my site and the registration succeeded
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)I’ve just tried it using your signup details and a different email. It failed, basically it seems to not like your choice of password. As I understand it BuddyPress does not do anything to check passwords but relies on the existing WordPress functions. I’m wondering if you’ve added anything to reject easy passwords?
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)I guess what you could try it just using a username for the sender name? it just needs to be different to WordPress
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)That would indicate you already have something changing your email sender, so maybe that’s not it. Admin is what I typically use.
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)I reckon that one fails because the email is gmail and gmail blocks emails from wordpress@yoursitename
I’d try changing your sender name with CB Change Email Sender
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)Give me some example data that does not work
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)The only thinks that would prevent the form from submitting would be:
Required fields not filled in
Passwords don’t match
Username not all lower case
Privacy policy acceptance not checked. In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)Then how was I able to register?
In reply to: Users Can’t Register (HUGE Emergency)I just registered for your site with no problem, at least I got the activation email, so I don’t think you have a problem.
