Thanks r-a-y
That sounds like a plugin conflict, in that it’s not an error I’m getting on my test servers so assuming there is something different regarding your install
What I found was clicking on the login link once comes up with a 404 error, but the following page load shows the login link as having additional redirects, so something is getting into a loop. Presumably you have a security plugin redirecting the login link?
In reply to: profile section is emptyYou could add it as a menu option or you could add it as a widget – there a BuddyPress login widget you could use.
In reply to: profile section is emptyYes I can see the profile information now. I don’t see your login link.
Not sure about your signup form but your login link seems to want to redirect several times in itself and comes up not found.
Regarding your error, have you tried deactivating all other plugins and testing again? Does that work?
In reply to: profile section is emptyJust looking at it again I found the BuddyPress info on the page. It all seems to be hidden. Try switching to the 2017 theme and see if you can see it then
In reply to: profile section is emptyWell the page you linked does not appear to be a profile page. I could not see any indication that this is a BuddyPress site tbh.
In reply to: profile section is emptyThat page does not look like a profile page, do you have BuddyPress activated, have you enabled extended profiles? I don’t see any links to a members directory or the likes.
In reply to: profile section is emptyDid you get any errors in the debug log?

In reply to: HELP! – Changing text in member search areaIn reply to: cannot create a new user successfullyPlease create separate threads for your issues, trying to solve several issues on one thread never works and since the original issue has been resolved that user does not need to see further updates for it.
In reply to: HELP! – Changing text in member search areaDon’t think there is, that comes from a core file, any change to that directly would be over-written in the next update, which would probably be a couple of weeks away.
In reply to: HELP! – Changing text in member search areaYou should be able to change the wording using the translation file and poedit.
I also recommend using WPT Custom MO File to manage your translations.
In reply to: security issueI’ve just tried it and the upload failed
In reply to: security issueWordPress checks the file format of all uploads to make sure the file content matches the claims of the filename, and rejects files that don’t match.
In reply to: security issueI’m thinking WordPress would catch this in it’s MIME checks, have you tried it?
In reply to: profile section is emptyTurn on WP_DEBUG in the wp-config.php file and you should be able to see the error that’s occurring, that should point to the problem.
In reply to: Custom Tabs in Profile Navigation? How are you with PHP and Javescript?
You could overload that specific page (cause BP to load a copied version of the page) add the content you want within a hidden class, then get javascript to remove that class to reveal the content. Alternatively you could write the js to go and get the content then insert in into a page element.
In reply to: Custom Tabs in Profile Navigation? You mean you want the new content to be inserted below the current content, rather than a page load?
In reply to: Read only Forum through BBPressWhen I close a forum in the forum settings, the topic colours remain the same as for open forums.
In reply to: Read only Forum through BBPressYou’d probably need to over-ride the CSS, I’m not aware of any settings that would affect this, might be worth looking at the bbPress styling plugins though I don’t recall them offering that particular feature.
In reply to: Lot’s of Plugin doesn’t work with 3.0files change, the point about overloading a file is that you take responsibility for keeping it up to date since the automatic process have been over-ridden
In reply to: Read only Forum through BBPressYou can set a forum as closed, that would effectively make it read only. check out Dashboard>>Forums
