In reply to: Lot’s of Plugin doesn’t work with 3.0
It seems either you or your theme has overloaded legacy file that is calling a deprecated function, if you did not set up this overload I’d get onto your theme authors to get them to update their theme.
In reply to: Lot’s of Plugin doesn’t work with 3.0I’d try switching to 2017 to see if that works, also try turning on WP_DEBUG to see if you are getting any error messages.
In reply to: Activation keyThe other thread indicated that this is a theme issue, so you should raise this with the thee authors, and in the meantime rollback to BP 2.9.4 there’s a link to the zip file, so all you would need to do is deactivate and delete BP from your plugins directory and them install the old bp by using the upload option when adding the plugin.
In reply to: Activation keyWhat theme are you using?
In reply to: Lot’s of Plugin doesn’t work with 3.0I just checked my site and Group Docs, BP Docs and Group Extras are all working fine with BP 3.0. Think you are going to have to be more speicific about your config – could this be a theme issue?
In reply to: Activation keyIn reply to: Errors, single profile not workingMaybe check with LearnPress first then
In reply to: Errors, single profile not workingIt depends on why you overloaded the file in the first place, presumably you did that to add some feature. One thing to try is to simple rename that file as .old for example and see if you still have your required functionality on that page.
Assuming you find you are missing something, you could compare that file with the new source file in plugins/buddypress/bp-templates/bp-legacy/buddypress/members/single/home.php and see what differences there are.
Content placed in the Registration page is not shown when bp loads the registration page, bp effectively overwrites any content placed there and replaces it with it’s own content, so adding a shortcode to this page would have no effect. To add content to this page you would need to overload the register.php file and insert a do_shortcode call or similar.
Did you test the activation email without BuddyPress loaded? I don’t suppose you edited the slug for he register page? I knw that sometimes causes the activation email to fail.
In reply to: Errors, single profile not workingThe issue looks like you have overloaded the home.php page and that file is calling a deprecated function, since support for legacy forums has now been removed.
In reply to: version 3.0 problemsCould you provide a list? How is your setup configured?
If that fails just ask on this thread
It’s difficult to say, this forum sometimes plays up for me, refusing to let me reply to a topic due to me triggering some keyword block.
In reply to: Activation Code after New Member RegistrationThe activation email has never been in the email list as far as I’m aware.
In reply to: Work.http://membrii-pm23.partidulmonarhist.ro/buddypress/register/ works, repoint you register menu to that page.
In reply to: Comment Button and Reply Not showingIf you are using BP Legacy its at
wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-templates/bp-legacy/buddypress...So would you be better off asking Buddyforms? I’m not able to replicate this as I don’t have that plugin.
How are you assigning the roes at registration? Is that something you’ve added with another plugin?
In reply to: Work. Not sure what you mean regarding admin including group members, you mean how group members can be added as group administrators? you can promote them in the manage members page for the group.
Invite anyone is a plugin that will allow you to invite all site members to the group not just friends, that might be what you are looking for.
Sounds like you would need some custom code to check if a member is a members of a croup and then promote them to contributor if they are and also to determine what profile data they can change depending on role.
Group invites still working for me, are you using bp Nouveau or legacy?
In reply to: Activation is not visibleThe issue is, I don’t have that theme, so it’s impossible to help.
In reply to: Work.OK, I setup a new page called Register and linked it to BP, I logged uut to look at it and it had all of your fields, you just need to add it to your BuddyPress menu, replacing the current page. That should do it.
In reply to: Work. What’s the url?
