This is the plugin that I use for that: http://1uthavi.adadaa.com/ada-wpmu-sitewide-feed-plugin/

SEO plays a big role in any website/social network/blog.

Your plugin makes the RT easier (don’t have to edit the title)! I use your plugin together with “all in one seo pack” to optimize the blog posts so now the front end pages are optimized and the blog posts!

@3sixty – I’m also interested in something similar. I’ve added a member as a spammer and as you say it doesn’t add the blog as spam so the blog entries that member (spammer) made is still visible on the activity stream. need something that delete’s everything that spammer is related to.

    Excellent topic!

I had it a bit differently when I started my first wpmu bp site. I was active on one of my country’s leading social networks when it was starting to fall apart. People were leaving everyday because the system was built on old software and no one seemed to care about support, etc. I then decided to create my own social network (similar to the popular one) and created my bp network taking 20 of the top networkers on the other site with me. The network has grown quite bigger than the first 20 members but I must admit it’s a slow process as others first wants to see what is in it for them.

To get back to the topic. Be active on the network and show your starting members how to use the network and all the benefits of your network. Also be sure to write “help” files as you won’t be around to answer everyones questions all the time. I’ve added a “feedback” floating bar button on the network where members can submit feedback /queries regarding the network to me.

I would like to add the Twitter and Facebook connection settings to the network but it doesn’t make sense as this network is country specific and on the registration page there’s a couple of fields that must be completed.

I’ve tested it on single WP and WPMU and it works 100%. Same as @Bpisimone. No bugs found. I had a problem with 0.3.2 where I couldn’t see the link votes when using the filter on specific links but it works now. Well done MrMaz!

One question. What’s the difference between the filters “highest rated” and “most votes”?

Does this only work then for new blogs created or can you configure the “default” widgets for the current blogs?

If you use %%componentname%% as the title for a forum topic, it doesn’t use “Replaced with component name(title of the entry)”

It uses the name of the Group and not the topic title.

Installed the update 1.0.2 but it still bolds the dashboard labels.

One question: When you have invited people and they have accepted, could there be a delete button on the sent invite page where you can view all of the invites that you have sent out? This is going to become quite clogged up if you invite many.

Only have time today to test it on my WPMU site. Will test this on the single WP this weekend.

Getting more and more of these errors. Almost can’t browse the site with the Tweetstream plugin activated.

    @antonrsaopencirclecoza

Nope, isn’t a problem with switching themes. I’m running Tweetstream on WPMU and a single WP installation and today those errors are just popping up like crazy.

revert to the previous version of Facestream and you can create groups again but It breaks the sitewide RSS.

I’ve posted some replies on the plugin on another thread: https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/invite-friends-from-profile

    I’ll keep it here instead.

First test on single WP gives this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_email_address_unsafe()…

@hnla – I’ve noticed this as well and sent an invite from another member’s profile but the email is sent from the member that is logged in. It just looks confusing as you can see the other member’s profile with the invites that you have sent.

When logged in and viewing another member’s profile, the “send invites” link on their account is visible. Shouldn’t it only be available on your own profile?

I’ve got a single WP install and will start testing it tonight. I’ll let you know of there’s any problems.

Thanks for the stable release Boone. Will this run on single WP?
